We are all slaves to the clock. It dictates every aspect of our lives.
It creates order and predictability.

We have to be good timekeepers. Bad timekeepers are frowned upon.
We are compelled to do certain things at set times of the day.
We go against our natural cycles of waking and sleeping.
Time is money.

What if someone could control the master timepieces (Greenwich meantime, calendars, radio clocks etc)?

They could add a few extra minutes here, take a second off there, maybe speed it up a little or slow it down? We could change what we think is meant by an hour or a minute. Our day, month, year could be reduced or increased by days.

All of this without us knowing.

And if you can "control" time what could you achieve?

Time is there really such a thing or is it just a perception of change

The Illuminati lizards from outer space of course.

The collective consciousness of each specific system controls the flow of time within it. We are not along for the ride - we all have a hand in controlling it. Unfortunately this isn't something that the majority is aware of, and as technological progress speeds up, communication speeds up, our awareness also speeds up. As a result, time itself speeds up as well. It's difficult to see the speed with which it's accelerating because we are all fastened in the 'now,' however if you could step outside and view our system with all dimensions in view, you would see it accelerating exponentially in relation to any fixed point outside the system. That's why you feel like things are progressing faster and faster over the past few years - your consciousness exists partially outside the physical realm and can see this change.

I also feel that it's not only the consciousness of humans that affects this flow. If there are any other conscious entities residing in our solar system or nearby (and I feel that there are) then they too have a hand in steering us all towards a collective future experience.

No single entity controls time, though groups with a powerful awareness can influence the majority. There exists people who are attempting this now, myself being one of them.

And no individual, group, or system can control the speed of time, only the path it takes. It's the path that's crucial.

My reptililian monitor lizard friend does. It now says the time is 02:21 and 31 seconds...beeeep....

I think you may have misunderstood. I was suggesting that the timepieces that measure time (not time itself) could be altered without our knowledge.

It struck me we are dependent on our daily routines and the importance of clocks and calenders in regulating, synchronizing and organising our lives. It therefore struck me that this has potential to be manipulated to someones benefit.

Who would do this and what could be achieved by doing this.

A couple of examples, if there were a few extra (or less) minutes in a day that only a few knew about how would it affect share prices.

The actual length of a day (our measurement of one) could be altered so that it is now "shorter" or "longer" than it used to be.

Time is a construct of the Human mind...a way to measure consciousness...

Humans are limited in the way they perceive existence...

Advanced life-forms, not of this earth, might look upon our reference to time as a simplistic way of perception...

Like trying to describe what fire is to a fish...

To most, time is merely the thing that measures the distance between life and death.

That would be an abstract way of looking at the idea of time.

Gravity controls time. God controls the system.

You may be right, however, gravity is most likely one of MANY Quantum forces we have yet to discover...

The Military USED to assume they know little about thier foes, likewise, an objective Human obsever would do well to admit that they do NOT know everything...just a thought...

Of course, of course. I know nothing for sure, only what my mind has shown itself. That was just a thought that keeps coming to me.

My dog controls time. As you know dog back wards is god. So he controls all my time by his own little inventive mind. When I awake in the morning, guess who's standing next to my bed sneezing in my face. Yup, my dogod. Than he demands by flipping the blankets up and away that I get up to do his bidding, which at this hour is to open the front door for him to enter out into the world. Than time is released back to my control as I get ready to sit down and check the latest ATS news, but than guess who is now at the window whimpering. Yup, my trusted dogod again. Now I have to let him in so he can examine his food dish for any delights for the day. Whether there is sustenance or not, he than decides it is time to relax in his chair.

I than have time to myself till he once again enters my private study space for more time manipulation and bending to his will. Now he orders at the noon hour, food be placed into his dish for inspection and if I proceed in a routinely timed manner he will release me from his time constraint and eat while I return to my private space.

Just when I think my time is mine, he appears in the doorway looking in, than moves closer to interrupt my time because it is time for him to go back outside. Again I must make time for him to go outside before I can reclaim my time to sit in my private study and get the news for the day.

I have no time for myself because my dogod makes sure I spend all my time on him. At least it seems that way.

ROFL! WS. Wait till he sits you down in the middle of the night demanding potato pancakes and give you 'the look' if you resist. Resistance is futile.

I dont think there is such a thing as universal time... I think its just a construct of our minds, necessary for our brain to know where we are in relation to previous events so that things make sense to us.

Read up on the holographic universe theory.

In a holographic universe, even time and space could no longer be viewed as fundamentals. Because concepts such as location break down in a universe in which nothing is truly separate from anything else, time and three-dimensional space, like the images of the fish on the TV monitors, would also have to be viewed as projections of this deeper order.

Okay, I am going to try and answer without seemingly being hostile on "what controls time?" It is an esoteric question to start off with.

Nowdays, the International Astronomical Society controls time. They set the time as being a 24 hour day because of the Earth's rotation around the Sun and the rotation of the Planet. This varies but leads to a measurement of time. Sure they could speed up the clock 25% nowadays so that 5 seconds tick off within the now space of current 4 seconds. This would make the 30 hour day and the clock would be ticking off the seconds 25% faster. The International Astronomical Society decided to make it a 24 hour day and measure the Heaverns (or the Universe and Stars) with Right Ascension (like a 24 hour clock) and Declination (north or south of the Equator) to divide up the sky. Again they could also do that by speeding up the clock 25% and have a 30 hour Right Ascension time scale and all of that.

Also a person could also have the 18 hour day as that works as well. But again the International Astronomical Society decided on the 24 hour day.

This makes up the day of 365 days but there is a remainder of like it really is 365.2524 days but again it depends on where you are on the Planet as being -- on the Equator. That leads up to have a Leap Day in a Leap Year. But lately, the atomic clock is also used because it is more precise but the Earth is not, and it Wobbles in its Orbit. 12,000 years ago Vega up in Lyra Constellation was the nearest to being the North Pole Star, and 4000-3000 years ago, the North Pole moved over to the star- Thurban in Draco because again the Earth is like a Top spinning and it has a Wobble in its Orbit. Now, Polaris in the Small Dipper Constellation is the North Pole Star but again the North Pole is describing out that circle arc like a wobbly spinning top and the North Pole is getting closer to Polaris through the year 2150. This all keeps moving so it is not necessarily the quantum world but leading to the Classical World we all relate to and the movement of the Universe throughout Time since whenever and however the Universe came into Being.

Of course one can think of it as FatherTime and MotherNature. And do not forget:

You better not Pout,
You better not Cry,
Better not Shout, I'm telling you why.
Santa Claus is coming to town.

Soon, and of course to get through this World he has to control time also along with all the Elfs.

But really it also could be thought of as a distance, and down at the Planck's Scale or Planck's Distance there also would be a sort of unit of time at the very, very, very, of what can be conceived now - as a unit of time. In fact, to me, and in my opinion, "Time" could be the only dimension, and everything else is relative to the Great Cosmos of Time.

Then there are other things that want to take up your time, like bad drivers on the road, people driving through parkinglots to get to another road but not really shopping at the market for the parking lot, and all the Adversity which may add something else to all the time being taken up, including Entrophy or the gradual running down of everything including even you.

This is only an illusion to as of why "Time" seems to be moving quicker in the future, but it was due to you only being able to move slower. This also adds to the dimension of Time as you Age in your Life and have put up with all this Time to figure out "Who Controls Time?"

You do!

if you research it people who go throught the bermuda triangle experence hours of time-gain in some cases. and no one really knows why some people that are in the plane actually see swirling lines which they call time lines because while they are there the plane seems to make the plane go faster but all the gauges are spinning uncontrolably

and the dragons triangle which is at the exact opisit side of the world the people there expeirence time-gain and all of the things that happen are the opisit of the bermuda triangle
and i for got to add the swirling lines (time lines) go the opisit way too

very facaniting to me
