Tax Protester Ed Brown Being Gassed and Tortured In Prison

Okay, so one can now just walk out of a Federal Court Hearing and think it is not contempt? Then inviting Federal authorities to your property where you have placed boobie traps and homemade bombs? Making statements like, "We either leave here free or we die!"

I'll never understand all the boo hoo's about a wealthy man who refused to pay taxes. The property he lived on is worth more than half the country earns in their lives. I can understand when a poor working person fudges but a rich man? You should pick your causes better.

If you use streets, sidewalks, highways, freeways, schools, public utilities like electricity and natural gas, airports, sewers, storm drains, parks, many museums, libraries, the Internet and on and on you are represented. Do some people think these things just grow out of the ground and no money or labor is involved? Or is it people think they should just leach off others and let them pay for everything they use?

The more I think about this the more I think this is pure fiction. He is pissed because he is having to pay the price for refusing to pay his taxes even though he was wealthy and this is his way of getting even. He is a nut and I'll bet this whole tape is a ruse. I'm not buying it. Especially if he's hooked up with the Prison Planet bunch. Maybe Alex Jones is paying him to do this? I don't trust that guy either. I predict a book and maybe a movie. Him and Alex will probably line their pockets off this crap. I've never believed Jones cared about anything other than lining his pockets.

We observe here the minimum coverage by local media of this worldwide read subject by many interested and worried citizens, an 8 months covered story about this elderly couple.

woohoo!! okay everyone a little good news! Shaun's phone conversation with Ed made wmur channel 9 news at 5:20pm tonight. they played parts of the conversation and covered all of the abuse. They said that the feds are not commenting on what ed said. Its about time that NH residents got some truths put on our news. They also said that Elaine's son got a letter yesterday, but he still isnt aloud to visit her or talk to her on the phone.

Can anybody nearer dig up some more about these allegations from Ed Brown?

In one instance, Brown indicated that McAuliffe's family should pay for his misconduct. In a radio interview in February, he identified McAuliffe as a member of the "Zionist Illuminati," a group that Brown believes is trying to rule the world.

So this makes Brown right and the Federal Government wrong? So we can all just go around threatening whom ever we want with no repercussions?

Nice try at twisting my words. I trust people here are smarter than that. I obviously meant that now he is in custody in a nice comfortable Minimum Security Prison, he will probably try and profit off of his crime another way. As far as Jones, how do you think he earns his living and pays for his constant travel with his herd of Anarchists?

You failed to mention one of his businesses and another property where he lived. The audit that started all of this was on a year he earned 2.4 million if I remember right. That is about what I've earned in my whole life and I earn an above average income. How many tears should I shed? I'm helping pay for the roads this guy drove on and he refused to pay his share. A really worthy cause I must say. If his little ruse cost him everything he has nobody to blame but himself. He got caught and then made up a story to cover his ass and get naive people to take his side. If you thing he believed in anything other than his own behind I've got a bridge for sale.

Around noon on Monday, September 17th, a Las Vegas federal jury returned its verdict refusing to convict nine defendants of any of the 161 federal tax crimes they had been charged with. The charges included income tax evasion, willful failure to file and conspiracy to evade taxes.

The four-month trial centered around the family businesses of Robert Kahre who paid numerous workers for their labor with circulating gold and silver U.S. coins, and did not report the wages. The payments took place over several years, allegedly totaling at least $114 million dollars.

The root of the problem is, you have a few private citizens with a tad bit too much money at hand given the authority to print their own money, from early 1900 on.

Of course that's asking for a lot of problems, which we all can look up in all our history books.

The main problem is that the rest of the world is not so happy with that, and that the owners of the print presses do not want to give away their privileges.

The Browns, and some more hardheaded opponents of the system, have the guts to rise up against an unfair system of double, triple and multiple taxes.

We don't.

Well if you think it can't happen here, dust off the cobwebs from the history books (you do have books in your home library, right?) look at what the GOV did for/to the American Indians (treaty's, treaty's, we don't need no stinking treaty's) , the Americans during the Whiskey Rebellion, the AMERICANS ( that is Americans of Japanees ancesrty) during WWII, and now the so called terriorists with the Patriot Act ( ugh, that time is not quite here yet). And you thought that not teaching history in schools was just a social experiment. Wake up. 1984 is here and alive and well. "Sedition laws" can and have been used against the American people in the past and can be used again. With one strike of the pen, a protester can be labled a terriorist and under CURRENT law not be seen or heard of for a long long time. I don't fear so much for me as for my children.

Funny, I learned about everything that you just spoke of, back in Jr and Sr. high so I do not know what schools you attended. What do the Internment camps have to do with a couple who decided that they were above paying taxes and then decided to make treats and plant bombs around their property. This has nothing to do with big brother, it has everything to do with people thinking that everyone and everything is out to get them. Evil lurks around every corner and sadly, if one doesn't buy this garbage they are labeled naive' or brain washed.

The Federal Reserve isn't a government run organiation, it's private....

I cant believe the amount of people who take everything posted on PrisonPlanet to be fact and not bother to double check the info with a more ... reputable source (such as perhaps his laywer/defense team). How can anyone take even one sentence written on that website to be true? Its nothing but a bunch of anarchist lies and slander. For a forum that claims to be denying ignorance I am seeing quite a bit of it from the Alex Jones crowd.

Bobafett, if you have the time, investigate it in the Federal Reserve Bank, which isn't federal at all, and not a bank at face value.
Lot's of info to be found in these forums and elsewhere, on who exactly have the finger on the start button of the presses.
Main cause why the Japanese and Chinese are dumping at last dollars in truckloads. Which is not good for all of us, if they proceed that the following weeks.

What amazes me, the people who attack the attitude of the Browns, seem not to realize that they fully well understood what risky chances they had against the Federal Government, but still choose to stand up against a system, unfair in their eyes.
They expected to get imprisoned, or perhaps killed, and knew very well that their property and companies would be seized, in case they lost their case in court.
Wealthy people, who still showed more backbone than most of us, and were risking all they worked for, all of their life, for a principle cause, which would benefit all tax payers. They did not oppose all taxes, only this one.
And they expected to have a good chance of winning.

That's why I gave the link to the Las Vegas court case, where the Feds lost.
Obviously a case where the defendants choose to act different and take good advice from experienced lawyers.

The Browns were more of the impulsive kind of people, and thought they could defend them selfs.

I worded it wrong, sorry. ( Not really, I never said Federal Reserve) The US Bureau of Printing and engraving print the money, which is part of the Treasury Dept. I apologize for my error but it does not change the point. No one else can legally make U.S. currency but them.

I can not understand their attitudes and the fact that people look at these people as revolutionaries is sad. There are laws in this country whether people like them or not. There are also way to change things with out making threats on peoples lives.

People need to do there own research, the Brown's were in no way middle class. They thought that they could get away with something and well, looks like they did not. And I really wasn't even talking about that aspect of this story. People seem to be ignoring the fact that they had planted homemade bombs around their 110 acre property, as well as traps. They had intentions of harm.

Yes and no to the Federal Reserve.

1.) The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System - are a independent federal governemtn agency. Like the US Postal Service, they recieve no funding from Congress.

2.) The Federal Reserve Banks have an intermediate status, with some features of private corporations and some features of public federal agencies.

So it is a yes and no answer.
But it is not a private corporation. Though the member banks are.
