Alien in Camouflage or Elaborate Costume?

I am new to the posting part of ATS, but I have been a lurker for a long time. I recently stumbled onto a video on You Tube which seems to show some sort of strange camouflaged creature hiding behind a tree.

It appears that the people with the camera were following a green light and noticed the creature at the last minute. It would be interesting if the original footage was available.

I am not sure if this video has been posted here before. If anyone has an opinion whether this video has been debunked or not I would love to here it.

I don't know if it's been posted or not, but it's an obvious fake.

The face inside the poncho is human. The people talking are terrible actors. It was a hoax.

I get more of a bigfoot vibe from that.

In the least, I don't think alien I think something from earth, but still very odd.

I don't know I guess it could be a guy wearing some outfit but really why would a guy be doing that out in the woods?

Because he and his friends want to make a hoax, upload it to youtube and get attention? But I agree with you, I don't think they wanted to make an alien video, I think they were aiming to create a bigfoot, mainly because of the big and furry body of the creature.

But yeah, this is surely a hoax. Why would the video just stop there?

It is a video from Australia (yay) of a supposed 'Yowie'. A Yowie is the Australian equivalent of Bigfoot.

It was proven to be a wookie costume actually, since the person that originally submitted it to Crypto-analysts worked on the last 3 StarWars movies in Sydney.

Thanks, I had a feeling it was Chewbawka. I just figured he would have that over complicated cross-bow thing that shot lasers.

Doesnt it remind you of predator??

but ya... seemed fake... why would it even let the person get that close, plus the guy has the light on from the camera, it would have been spotted way earlier
