LOL yes, I believe I am being converted!

I love NASCAR. We go to RIR when we can. There is nothing like "Rolling Thunder" on a short track. I picked Jimmie Johnson his rookie yr (Was Jeff Gordon fan till I met him. Even though not my driver, he can drive like no one I have seen.) Go Jimmie.

LOL....I am watching the race and listening to Jimmie on Sirius. He is not real happy with his car. But good ol' Chad is working on it to get it there. Hopefully it will be to his liking from this pit stop on. GO JIMMIE!

Jack is watching Jeff on big tv, we got the Nascar package and I have yet to see Jimmie on it......errrrr.

Definitely..so is Dale Jr. Not my fav driver...but that was some crash..
That is why NASCAR needs to impliment the rule that the lug nuts have to be tightened all around on those tires...
Were it not for the wheel flying off...he wouldn't have crashed.

a wheel coming off is very bad
it can go anywhere
and if you get hit by one in full flight
just another crazy rule in a crazy sport

why do they never up-date the rules themselfs every couple of years
it would stop stupid mistakes like this happening

Hey! Works been ridiculous this week so I haven't been around...but I'm loving that you guys were chatting during Sunday's race! I only caught the end because of some family obligations (had to help my sister cook dinner for everyone and the room was full of Skins fans who didn't like me changing the channel...) But I will be tuning in this Sunday and will probably also tune into Kurt Busch's in-car audio again. Maybe I'll stop by in here to see if anyone is around too!

I'm all jacked up for the race in Texas this week. It's where I will hopefully take the led in my yahoo fantasy league. I've been gaining on the leader and this week I picked Truex ( polesitter) and Montoya in my B grp. I'm going to analyze the practices tomorrow for some good clues on who to start.
I hope the race isn't too boring. In my opinion, 1.5 mile tracks tend to be.

I gotta give Jimmy credit. He races like it was the last race of his life. I think Jeff Gordon is jealous ! JJ sure has the passion. Not that other drivers don't but Jimmy has the skills to back it up. Kenseth gave him a run for his money the last 10 laps. That was a great finish.
