Oh, after my repeated emails to congress, senate, Pelosi, and white house regarding Iraq and war rumors of Iran I bet I couldn't fly to my bedroom let alone the moon. A good American states his beliefs, even to detriment of his own 'freedoms'. Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead!
All of which, by the way, I did so in the most eloquent and non threatening way as possible.

Maybe thats why I'm here! The idea that everything has valid merit if it is so written. However, I feel that this site is a .com so it is very much not legit. Stay away from entering any information and even clicking links, but who am I! I am only I am. or I can I am, modeled after the little steam engine.. someone said "if we don't believe in free speech for our enemy then we don't believe in free speech at all" Choam ? (someone). LOL I-Beam, one keyword away from investigation. Att, sprint, all the others wantonly give up the ghost. I pick up dog poo after my dogs, cut the grass, and pay my taxes. So is 99.9 percent of everyone else out there. Minus the poo perhaps.

Speaking of the FBI, does anyone know the story on David Copperfield?

Anybody got any background on why his warehouse was raided and he's under investigation?

You mean recently?

I read on Yahoo earlier that some woman is accusing him of raping her. Saw his picture with a news item and had to see what it was since he hasn't really been in the media for a few years now.

If you didn't before this, you will afterwards. They add "Requested FBI File - (date of request)" for making such requests.

If you believe you have a file, you probably do. Requesting one wont answer curiosity, just cause more questions when you discover what you thought would be there isn't. Did you really expect it to be?

You should not provide any personal information to some company promising to find a file for you. Simply do some research on how to prepare a FOIA Request Document, and then submit it directly to the FBI and NO ONE else.

If you really need some guidance, hire an attorney and have them do this for you.

Most likely some Government Agency has something on someone. Put together, everyone has some sort of file on the Federal Government Level. It is not all negative either, for instance some information can help in indentifying and even finding a lost loved one.

Unless you are a serious threat to America, or some nut case running around WTO meetings throwing rocks through storefront windows, I wouldn't worry too much about any "files" the FBI may have on you.

Or you can contact these people:

Get My FBI File

Admin edit to remove personal home address at their own request.

Doesn't mean much to me, maybe someone American can tell if this is a real company or not! I also found this:

This web site helps you generate the letters you need to send to the FBI to get a copy of your own FBI file. We can help you get your files from other "three-letter agencies" (CIA, NSA, DIA, ...) too. It's quick, it's easy, and best of all, it's free!

You all realize if you request your file and they don't have one, they have to start a file to put your request in.

Just a thought...

I got my first one back, from the local field office.

I have no file locally.

Nice to know I'm not under investigation for anything, at least.

I have all three of my requests back.

I'm completely clean, even after nearly a year on ATS, among other things.

Evidence that just being a member here doesn't put anyone on a "list."

Well, that's good to hear your in the clear!

And I'm sure a lot of other ATS'ers are breathing a little easier now, maybe even feeling a little less paranoid!

Thanks for coming back here to post your request results!

I have TWO files actually. I had friends in college that were friends with some people who went off the deep end and caused an "incedent" on the news . . . .

Yeah I have been seen on TV more then once 20/20, hardcopy and 60 mins.

Three years they owned my life walking a tight rope between mafia, jewish "Business" people and the Feds who contacted me.

I imagine the old guy wolf is dead by now.
