He actually rejected the yankees offer!!! Go Joe Torre!! Yankees are going to be a completely different team next year.

The way the Yankees, and Steinbrenner, have treated their players, coaches, and personnel, is absolutely despicable. I'm so tired of hearing about this. A-Rod will never be good enough, even if he puts up MVP like numbers year in and year out. Jeter is always going to be a god, even if he puts up terrible numbers.

I appreciate that they stay true to their own, but at the same time, a lot of people are unjustly put through the ringer.

I think it is time that Torre move on, and it's the best thing for both. Yanks need a new bench boss, and Torre can take park his seat in Cooperstown.

If the Yankees hire Mattingly for this position, they should be mocked endlessly. Joe Girardi is your man. Hire him tomorrow.

With Torre out, I'd be surprised to see Posada and Rivera back.

The jury is still out on A-Rod.
