"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."~~ thomas jefferson

sometimes i like to sit and go through this in my head a few times. in my opinion its as relevant today as it was those many years ago when our founding father (who were terrorists and traitors according to england), stood up for what they believed was right. maybe as a country in fact more than maybe we should pay more attention to why and how our country was founded. rather than listen to the talking heads on the news, remember our founding fathers had a dream and its up to us on a personal level to keep these dreams alive.

it is definatly not PC. it would be funny to get a bunch of people out on the lawn of the whiteshouse with signs of this....

it would likely end in bloodshed much like the boston massacre.
