DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. - After months of frustration, a mother of a soldier in Iraq has found someone to ship about 80,000 cans of Silly String to the troops, who use the foamy substance to detect trip wires on bombs.

I thought this was a nice change to all of the criticism and talk of destruction. A reminder that, with a little creativity, a big impact can be made so long as you have the initiative.

I heard about this lady a few months ago. What I find hilarious about this is that every war has some funny, odd, quircky thing or event attached to it. The Iraq war will have this lady and her silly string. Glad to see she finally found a way to get the silly string shipped over.
