I don't know what mission this was from, but this video contains one of the more impressive sequences out of all of the NASA UFO videos I have seen.
I have seen this video once or twice on TV, but it is always shown considerably sped up. Several bright objects can been seen throughout the video,
some of them moving. But, the REALLY bizarre one enters the right side of the screen at 2:18 moving at a relatively high rate of speed. It continues
all the way to the left of the screen when it begins to slow down, makes a 180 degree turn, and zooms back in the direction it came from. Yeah, NASA
will say these things are ice particles, and I honestly believe that in most instances ice particles are what we are seeing, but this is strikingly
different. Please take a gander.
If anyone knows what mission this is from and the context of this clip, please do tell.
EDIT: I noticed that the embedded video clip shows the time in reverse, so the object I am referring to enters at -0:55.
Given that the slowing down, and the reverse of direction occurs when the "cloud" of light starts appearing and seems to match the same rate, my
guess would be that its a particle that got moved when the shuttle either dumped something, or started a manevauring burn.
Without knowing any more details about the time, the full video, and the audio transcript you won't know what was exactly going on in that mission
that would rule out or support a controlled unidentified object.
This is the famous Dr Oren Swearingen's STS-114 UFO footage.
The video posted is in very slow motion wich causes some confusion
due to the reference. See the video in real time here.
