As far as police records go, my cousin called the local police department and asked for records from 1987, unfortunately they declined to give us any information at all!

You say the police wouldnt give you any records? Why? What exactly did they say? The record would have YOUR name on it, not your cousins. So, YOU need to call or go visit.

Why didnt you stop by the police dept when visitng the mall? The mall wouldnt have any police records.

Im really boggled by some of this.

Good luck and keep us updated as you persue this.

ps. Before I became a mom, I used to work as a private investigator. I wish I still was, as I could obtain those records for you quickly and easily. I suggest you call [or go visit] the PD again.

But my cousin insists that I've been there dozens of times with my family.

All I have is my cousin, who is a year younger than me, so he can't remember anything as well.

Interesting statements...

If your cousin is a year younger than you and can't remember anything at all, how does he know (remember) that you were there dozens of times?

He can't remember anything about the incident, of course, he was only 1 year old at the time! I meant it in this way, that he can't help with information about the incident!

So if your Aunt no longer speaks to you does she speak to your cousin (her son?)?

Can your cousin ask her about the event, especially if you were clean and dry when you were picked up.

I think this is key. If you were changed and clean, then it's so much more likely that a kindly, but misguided person picked you up, took care of you for three days and then, having second thoughts returned you.

In fact I think it would have been part of the 'story' had you been returned dirty, unchanged, wet or otherwise unhygenic, making it almost a certainty that you were cared for, don't you agree?

In fact, if the government does this kind of abduction on a daily basis, there's no doubt they would be prepared to take care of a baby for 3 days. I don't think it would have been very agreeable to them to have to manipulate a horribly stinky baby around.

Also, I don't think aliens did it in this case. Aliens would take a few hours maximum, and wouldn't abduct the baby in a such a public place. It's also very possible he was simply abducted by a person looking for a child, and returned.
