The only thing I remember about my childhood are the nightmares, I can remember those very well! And a school, don't remember the name, but I remember what it looks like! Everything else is blank.

May i ask you to draw something that you saw in your nightmares. Not asking an artistic performance, just something which could help us to find out some further clues.

I experienced something very similar... but I was 19 and it was only for 1 hr. it happened to my best friend and I. We always joke about traveling through time that day. I believe you because I know how it feels.

It's easier to describe them! It's interesting to note that all of my nightmares occurred inside of where ever I was living at the time. One I will never forget:
I woke in the middle of the night to voices coming from the stairwell outside the front door. The voice was very frightening, it was very deep and robotic, it was telling me not to be afraid. I opened the front door(for some reason) and looked down the stairwell, there were two..."greys" as other ppl usually call them. They looked exactly like "greys", very thin, big black eyes, no other facial features. They were sort of.."floating" up the stairwell towards me, their feet never touched the ground. That's where the nightmare ended.

Does hypnosis really work?!?! This seems a little weird to me, but will it work?!

It does, but it's not like taking a pill and go to sleep.

You have to find the right person, a professional one. You have to be calm, very certain and unafraid that you are going through this.

Be very careful what you're going to say to the professional, some may start asking what you think it was to kind of make you create memories. Before you get hypnotized ( relax, it's just a word) you should only state that you don't remember anything and because that story come up a lot you are curious too.

If you lived in Brazil
I could point to a guy very good in this. lol

This is the point, IMHO: between what you see and what you say there are words. My english is too bad in order to catch every single clue in your account. My bad. A drawing will describe the scene much better than what you think. There are people who told me to do not remember a certain figure, but after they started to draw they felt as if they were guided directly by their memory. Also, why don't you try? An attempt could be useless, but of course not dangerous.

Well here's a possible prosaic theory.

Since you were in a Mall and after three days had no apparent distress, weren't suffering from exposure or hunger, you must have been fed or found food and shelter at the Mall.

Do you know what time of year? If it was winter and the Mall wasn't heated at night then the probability seems to lean towards you being picked up by someone and taken away from the area. If so, maybe they had a moment of conscience and brought you back to the Mall.

What you might want to try researching is how often children are taken, but the kidnapper (maybe a distraught mother?) ends up returning them. If that's not an infrequent occurrence then that might help explain it. Could be that kind of thing happens all the time or is at least not that rare.

Good luck.

It's really the most logical. Though the papers are full of lurid accounts and tales, I'd bet that many cases are simply women who want a child but for some reason haven't been able to have one. Then later they become empathetic and remorseful and return the child. I'd think a big Mall would be one of the prime location for amateurs looking to obtain a child for the above reason.

Do you remember if you went missing in Summer or Winter?

Well, if so, the kidnapper must have been pretty damn quick! And this was actually a small mall, its not very big! To be honest, the way my aunt describes it, it would be almost impossible for someone to kidnap me when I was just inches away from her, and her attention was off of me for just a few seconds...as I've mentioned before.

Im not sure if it was summer or winter, but since I was 2 years old at the time, and my b-day is at the end of July.......

Since you were a toddler and missing for a lenghty amount of time, Im assuming your mother filed a police report. There would probably be record of it still. You should check with the police department of the city it happened. Im surprised there was no news about this happening, as it would be a big news story. I was a teenager at the time. But didnt pay attention to the news then. LOL

And I have a toddler. Im not surprised at how a 2 yr old can quickly run off and dissapear. They are like little mice!

In '87, it was the hayday of the consumer 'somewhat' affordable home video recorder. I would not be at all surprised if you were actually kidnapped, videotaped by some pedo, and then subsiquently returned a coupple days later, found right where you were dropped off..

It may be possible you wont want to know what happened to you at all!

Try searching for known or cought pedo's in the area..

I don't buy the story for a second. How many Americans call their mother (mum). Sounds very British to me. Back in 1987 if a two year old came up missing in a mall it would have been locked down by the local law enforcement, F.B.I and know one would have been permitted in or out of that mall till the child was found. A kid can hide very good in a mall but after a few hours let alone days that kid would be screaming to the top of his lungs.

Ah then that is that everyone! Sky Watcher says it didn't happen because he calls his mom, mum. Nothing to see here. Move on. I am glad this is settled.

LOL I assure you I am not british! And as I've said before, I was 2 years old at the time, this story has been told to me my whole life by my mum and my aunt! In fact, other family members were around when this happened, they know of this incident as well!

You do not have to believe me, I'm simply sharing an experience of mine to everyone on ATS, if it was not true I would not have shared it!

It is indeed surprising that you would come here and ask for help and you don't even know what season it was, nor if your mom filed a police report.

If this is a genuine report I suggest that there's a LOT you need to do to get background information. You should be able to track this down to at least the month if not the week and day. To me, it sounds like you've hardly done ANY personal research.

Your aunt's comments are silly. The majority of people say that they were just inattentive for a second. That's the norm. Besides, if you were being stalked it would only take a couple seconds.

I don't know if this will help at all, but the LA Times on-line Archives go back to 85. Here is the link - LA Times Archives Search

If you meant Panorama City in LA that would have been the paper of record I believe. You might find an article.

I don't recall asking for help, I was simply sharing an experience of mine! And I assure you, I have been researching as much as I can, very little information is available regarding "missing children" in 1987. I've tried contacting my mum, but I haven't seen or spoken to her in almost a year. I'm not sure where she is at the moment! The rest of my family, including my aunt, have severed contact with me since I was 18.

But Thanx for your kind comments!
