China plans moonbase for 2020.

China plans to set up a lunar base after 2020, capping a series of preparatory robotic missions and a human landing on the moon, a Chinese space official said here Wednesday.

This article struck my interest a little. The United States are also planning a base on the moon to be permanantly staffed by 2024, whats everyones thoughts on this?

Do you think both nations will make their deadlines?

This is going to trigger another frantic space race for sure!
