When Osama bin Laden issued his videotaped message to the American people last month, a young jihad enthusiast went online to help spread the word.

“America needs to listen to Shaykh Usaamah very carefully and take his message with great seriousness,” he wrote on his blog. “America is known to be a people of arrogance.”

An interesting 3 page article about the use of the Internet for recruiting terror(ists), photos and videos about the topic. Even e-books written to romance would-be sucide bombers.

I think this is propaganda and if it isn't it's meaningless anyway. One kid in North Carolina going to sway the new world into Islamic Jihad. We have to understand the nature of war too. Germany had an American Nazi Party following of thousands. It's not uncommon to try and convert some of the other team to come bat for your team.

Not saying it's right, just saying it's not necessarily shocking. I do believe it's more "TERRORISM IN AMERICA. RUN!" Rather than an actual threat. There's millions of Muslims in America and if they were going to attack, they wouldn't go through a North Carolina native to coordinate something. Believe it or not, crowd, they're people who are smart enough to not take orders from the middle east. They're fully capable of developing a plan of their own without the okay from some extremist, somewhere else.

Agreed again Deadflag, I think the NYT starts to be a propaganda center
for the wrong side of the coin..... as much as they hyped up Gore for that
peace award seemed like they were endorsing his. I usually feel this way
about them, although others think they're pretty liberal, judging from this thread's story -- they seem like neo cons.

The time of yellow journalism is DEAD. We have this spiderweb of mainstream media that seems to trap all oblivious average Americans. We're force fed terror day in and day out. If it's not from the middle east, we have rapists and pedophiles "OUT FOR OUR KIDS."


Here's a clip of exactly how I feel about the Islamic extremists. If they wanted to hurt us. THEY WOULD DO IT. There would be a plan and zero hesitation to do so. Look at Israel. They have small suicide bombings every month almost. That zero tolerance behavior isn't going to change because they're far away. That behavior is PANDEMIC with extremists groups and I'm tired of my fellow Americans thinking they have to fear some unseen force. It's a ridiculous waste of energy!
