I was checking out this site about the thread's topic, pretty interesting content. A lot of Mayan stuff within and a couple of essays about the Noosphere and Biosphere.

Also, they have a "Law of Time" area and a couple of scientific articles relating to time in general w/ theories, etc.

They have a interesting theory of space time on that site, related to the recent crop circle that popped up Aug 1, 2007.
