who saw that movie i was wondering is that possible and if so has it been attempted or successful made??

f16, I read a book, The Silent War : Cold War Battle Beneath the Sea by John Pina Craven, where he describes the possible sinking of a rogue Soviet sub the Red September. This is the incident which Tom Clancy based the The Hunt for Red October on.

John Craven was the Chief Scientist of the Navy's Special Projects Office, so I believe he has credibility in what he says.
