This FOIA indicates that fixes (waypoints) FIDOE and SHOWW are not in
use but reserved:

Here is the route N623RA used on 9/21/2007 to fly from Groom Lake to
Palmdale:
TKM..BTY060030..SHOWW..CLARR.V394.DAG..PMD/0110


WWW282 on 10/5/2007 used this route from Groom Lake to McCarran:

Hmm, seems almost ridiculous to go that far to keep the base classified. I must admit I'm not to knowledgable about the details of the aviation network. Got any recomendations on links/books to learn more?
