People have reported UFOs in the sky over Uckfield.

Jamie Smith from London Road saw more than 60 glowing orbs hovering above the town on Saturday night. He said it was like something out of Space Invaders. His dad told him to go into the garden where he saw at least 60 red lights above the house, all in close formation. He said: "There was no way they were planes or anything like that. Then they moved off and just two remained. Eventually they went as well."

Stephanie Gibb and Ryan Jackson, also from Uckfield, saw the lights. Stephanie said they were "creepy but also brilliant".

I think first contact will be done world wide at once and not only over a city. But yes, interesting article. Some of these ships are reverse engineered by the US government though. However, it seems likely that all of these sightings lately should be in order to get people to get used to the idea of aliens existing before a possible first contact.

Exciting times..

I don't think the US army would send 60 of their fliying discs and scare the crap out of everyone.

I live round this area and there have been a few reports over the summer of this type of thing. However, I believe that in all the cases the objects in question were found floating chinese laterns set off from nearby parties. Much as I would love to believe this one I think you would find that this again is the case. If it had n`t happened (ie Chinese laterns being mistaken for UFOs) in our area so much over the last few months I would be more positive about this one. I stand to be corrected though if someone can prove that it could n`t possibly be chinese laterns.....

So I guess nobody in the town of Uckfield has a camera, darn. I guess I'll just take their word on it, considering that 60+ UFOs pop up over small towns all the time I don't see how Uckfield is special.

Maybe they knew that there was a party going on somewhere and had been told about possible Chinese lantern releases.
Uckfield is a pretty small place you know.

The important part of the article is the picture of the daisies. Hmm what could it mean....

Yup, sounds like another chinese lantern sighting to me. There was a good sighting in Fife the other day though. Daylight sighting. Bright silver with a sharp point front, angled cut at the back end, no noise, flying erratic. 300-500ft up. Don't despair, the real ones are there.

Very true.

It's just a matter of time before we hear more... and more... and more
