Wierd Woosh! Sounds Late Night

hey guys do any of u sit @ home online in the dark and nothing open all doors closed no wind @ all and all of a sudden u get a woosh past ya ear like a ghost passed u? i had it happen to me like 4 times in my whole life in the same spot it all happend also and all times the time was late around 3 in da morning totaly dark place i am wondering if its a ghost or something

i posted something similiar up on here ages ago. I was lying down and felt it. First time i was scared, second time, it seemed to come before what would be known as an OOBE.
My mother has also mentioned this to me twice now. That she was sitting there and felt something swoosh past her ear.

To me, it felt like someone had swung a tennis racket right next to my ear.

Were you sleepy?

My Mom stayed at my sister's house for a couple years to help her with her kids when my sis was ill. This house was known for paranormal. Tv's turning on, voices awaking people from sleep. My Mom saw lit candles in her room swirl and wave by some breeze with no windows open or near any hvac vents multiple times.

now thats wierd and freaky the swoosh with the candle would have to be preety freaky

My Mom was an old Slovak church lady, tough as nails. She'd say the rosary and go to sleep without a second thought.

it is strange. I thought it happened to me cos i was sleepy, and i told my mother about it. She is very nervous about all this paranormal stuff and doesnt like it at all. And a few months later she told me what she had felt.

Weird thing was, it was really hard to explain to people unless you knew what it was yourself. The third time i felt this, it wasnt near my ear, it actually felt like it was going across, inside my head. Same swooshing sound, but inside my head.
That freaked me out.

Perhaps a rod went by your ear?

I'd say this thread suits well in the paranormal activities.

It might be just the mind trick that's screwing with you (like deja vu, for exmaple), but the question is, did you feel the wind the approach by your ear? Your ear's hair? Perhaps you live in a haunted house? Someone died before in your house?

its very freaky thing to happen there is something else i felt happen before next to my house i have power lines and like it only happend ones like the power lines just like had this thing like wene u pull 2 wiresand like one of them swishes and the swish comes from one side and hits hard @ the other side but this was wierd u can hear it it past my house like flying swooosh in speed i dont know if its something got to do with power or some paranormal # happening

i can't speak for the OP, but it wasn't like wind. To describe it as wind gives a perception of something gentle. This was exactly like someone had stood right next to my ear and swung a bat/tennis racket full speed. A Whoosh....it actually made my ear ache for a while.

nah i felt it past me like wene u hear someone wave past ya ear and u can feel the wind and hear the noise its freaky

yeh and u also get this hair standing feeling like u know all my hair stood up in fright thats how like wierd it was

hehe nope its a new house 3 yrs old and umm i felt the swosh and u can hear it also very wierd

probably just my mind? That made my ear ache after experiencing it?
i'm all for the power of mind over matter, but when youre just lying there (sitting there) and it happens....i would say its not all in the mind
