Alvin and the Chipmunks. Id forgotten that too.

I was going to throw Felix the Cat out there but i think most of the clips are R rated.
So i had to settle for,

Speed Buggy

And

captain caveman

And while searching look what i found.
(ahem, its just a little bit risque). Dont watch it if your easily offended.

the cartoons i grew up on were:

Ren and Stimpy
Doug
Rockos Modern Life
Mighty Max
Rugrats
Ahh! Real Monsters
Angry Beavers
Tiny Toons
and of course
all of the loony toons

i feel kinda bad for the younger generation these days.. their cartoons are so.. boring, aside from spongebob and the adult oriented cartoons like the simpsons and family guy cartoons have kind of lost their edge

I think it has a lot to do with the older cartoons having to rely more on content rather than the more fancy animation and effects in use today. There were some seriously good writers employed to script the cartoons in the "old days".

And how could i forget,

Heckle and Jeckle - Cave Birds

I can't believe no-one has mentioned Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch, my all time favourite! (unfortunately it's in Spanish)

And Chorlton and the Wheelies

And, of course, The Incredible Banana Splits!

Awesome stuff!

Mind you, I really enjoy The Venture Bros. (having Foetus do the soundtrack doesn't hurt either)

Probably the best cartoon on TV today.

BTW, wasn't it Magilla Gorilla?

I was going to post Banana Splits, one of my all time favorite kids shows. Didnt they have "Danger Island" and the "Arabian Knights" and other shows on there as well. Memory is not as good as it once was.
