So I like to google at google maps and windows local live just to kill time.
Just a few minutes ago I gound something very interesting, I would like for you all to give a try.

Open two tabs, one being for Google earth/maps, the other for Windows local Live. Then go to Nevada, scroll down to Las Vegas, and just to the left over the Toiyabe National Forrest and south west of Spring mountians you will see a settlement.

Now when attempting to zoom into this settlement in Windows Local Live the entire City dissapears. Spooky!!!

Amazingly with Google maps/earth the city deminishes to 1/4 of what it was before zooming.

What do you all think of this!? It's what I call the dissapearing city phenomenon! Give it a try!

Could just be different resolution - here in the UK I've found remote upland areas with better resolution than my home town. Don't think it's a conspiracy though
