You know some people on this board get really offended when others, like me, question the intelligence of some people in the Middle East, particularly when the make statements like this..
I hear all sorts of excuses from people here when talking about statements like these but the most popular one always seems to be that they were "miss-interpreted"
We have this statement from a former leader in Iran and then you have statements from the current leader in Iran..
My all time favorite statement was made a few months back when Irans President claimed that they had found a cure for AIDS

I dont know, I guess they are entertaining if nothing else

Hashemi Rafsanjani, former Iranian president and current Chairman of the Assembly of Experts, said Friday that Hitler’s treatment of Jewish people in Europe was due in part to their being “a pain in the neck.”

Rafsanjani’s comments came during a sermon for "International Jerusalem Day" on Iranian TV.

Listen to speech

Rafsanjani noted that Jews caused problems for European governments because they “had a lot of property” and “controlled an empire of propaganda.” He also said that the Nazis were successful in saving Europe from the evil of Zionism.

The former Iranian leader served as president from 1989 to 1997, and was succeeded by Mohammad Khatami. Rafsanjani ran for a third term in office in 2005, but lost to current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Oh yeah if you read the original Persian it says "Hitler was a really bad person, I'm glad Israel was created."

Whatever the case, there's precious little anyone can do about Iran. Israel is not going to be a fun place to be in the next ten years, I predict. I hope my comments so far haven't come across as antisemitic, I have a lot of good friends who are Jews.

Dont worry, Im not the type to scream racism every time the words Israel or Jew is used in sentences that disagree with them or their policies..
Israel probably hasnt been a fun place to live for the past 20 years or so but I am in agreement that it will most likely be a lot worse for the next 10-20 years..
Unfortunately though, since the US and Israel are joined at the hip, we will be dragged down right along beside them..

Only if we continue to unwisely sink resources into a country that has never done anything for us. Israel was established to be an independent Jewish state, America should hold them to that.

hitler represents a spirit that moves in humans and drives them into genocidal hate and occult mysticism, it always coincidentaly focuses on the jews eventually in a cycle. Almost as if a being is controlling people into madness. honestly I think were living some tweeked out dr who/star trek episode and we havent figured it out yet.

Sometimes I ask myself "was hitler an average guy who was an anomoly, didnt like the way things ran? But couldnt control his visciousness, or was the plan of genocide planned from the late 1800s and hitler was in on it early, or got manipulated to play the role self convinced etc..

To view Hitler as an abberation is to ignore what happened prior to his ascent to power, especially Germany's fall from grace following World War I and the socialist conquest of Russia. There were a lot Jews involved in both events, I'm not going to go as far as to say they were pivotal, but it is at least rational to say that they were the perfect scapegoats.

the language is Farsi BTW and not Persian. I know alot of native Arabic and Farsi speakers and quotes are often mistranslated and taken out of context by the media.

The Iranian president was basicaly portrayed as a stark raving lunatic by the media here int he US. When he spoke at Columbia, many were thrown for a loop as this was not the same manic we had seen on the various news bits

Hitler wasnt the one that created a hatred of Jews, he just happened to be someone in a position of power that acted on it.
Jews have been blamed for many things and hated because of that, all throughout history..
While sitting in prison and writing his book, Hitler had plenty of time to dwell on the two things that he hated most, Jews and Communists.
According to some historians, one of the things that has been blamed on Jews for centuries is that they will eventually ruin a Nation with their greed by monopolizing certain positions of power, building themselves up while knocking the rest of the Nation down..

the language is Farsi BTW and not Persian.

Oops, pardon my ignorance. please dont deduct any of my hard earned points..

Bit offtopic since this doesn't involve the jew factor. Anyway, say what you say but Hitler did save Finland. One good thing he did, even though he only did to secure his own fronts. If it weren't for him we'd be speaking russian here.
Noone can be really sure what the world would be without him, russia might've taken over most of Europe if it weren't for his resistance.
Everyone seems to only remember the really horrible stuff.
Here an interesting article (bit offtopic too) about his mustache and how it became the symbol of evil.

Yea and if Hitler wouldve concentrated his massive war machine entirely on Russia , instead of the entire European Continent, he wouldve beaten them..
Wow, how would that have changed history?
I wonder what the present would be like had that had happened?
Would England and the US allied them with Russia or would we have stayed out of the War completely?
I think that we wouldve been way to busy with Japan to bother helping a country that was a questionable ally, at best..
England and France are the main reasons that we entered the European Theater..
Some say that every decision or lack of decision, creates a new time line, so perhaps the answer to that question is out there somewhere

I think the Iranian gvt has read meinkempf..
because the idea of a jewish propoganda empire within pre ww2 europe was a main aspect of his hatred I think!

We can play the "what if" game forever. I personally believe in the "snowball effect" theory of time and if you go back in time and kill one insect it'll pile up to huge changes in the future.
We know he did evil things but if he hadn't we cant imagine what the world would be like.

Hitler Did Save Europe, They Were In A Big Depression and Hitler save them all, But Like Always USA have to screw everything up, They Had No Business In Europe, Their War Was Against Japan, not Hitler,. Hitler Actually Knew the problem, and fix it, but like always, USA Screw Europe and everything up.

A Better Place Will Be If The Axis Power Had Won The WAR.

PS: I Dont support Anti-semitism Or Hitler's View Of Jewish People]

how on earth did hitler do some good things, its believed that 50+ milllion people died due to one mans rascist and bigoted vision, there are no if's and but's to say this absolute stain on human history could of prevented another one is a sad outlook on life. He is hated and dispised and rightly so, he saved nothing and no one.
