Another very informative article from Mike Adams at Newstarget. This article explains how the pharmaceutical companies hide facts about breast cancer prevention and actually profit from this disease.

What you learn from this article:

• The top 18 causes of breast cancer that you can control or change
• How breast cancer provides billions in profits for drug companies
• Why the breast cancer industry isn't looking for a real cure
• Which simple nutrient prevents 77% of ALL cancers
• The latest research on natural breast cancer prevention therapies that really work
• Names and web addresses of my top recommended anti-cancer herbs and supplements
• The real reason why cancer mortality is much higher in blacks than whites (and why you were never told the truth about this...)
• The shocking truth about the miserable failure of over-hyped breast cancer drugs
• How chemotherapy causes permanent organ damage to cancer patients
• Why "pink products" are often just a marketing sham
• Why the cancer industry ultimately doesn't want people to prevent cancer
• How certain cancer non-profits are actually front groups for Big Pharma
• How the cancer industry victimizes black women by keeping them ignorant of simple cancer prevention strategies
• The truth about deadly mammograms (and why mammography harms ten times as many women as it helps!)
• The top 22 ways to prevent or even cure breast cancer
• Which anti-cancer foods work best to halt tumor growth
• How the male-dominated cancer industry exploits women for corporate profits
• Which breast cancer non-profit you can really trust!
• Which herb from the Amazon rainforest shows powerful anti-tumor activity
• Why your geographic location on the planet impacts your breast cancer risk (includes graphs)
• Why running in circles to raise money for a "cancer cure" is a complete waste of time
• How top cancer non-profits have abandoned cancer prevention in favor of screening and "treatment"

Additionally, I would like to add that since moving to the Denver area, I've noticed the giant pink ribbons on top of many large office buildings. It's incredibly disgusting how hard they will "market" this thing for profits.

I've read your post but haven't visited the Link yet.

I already agree with you that finding a cure for breast cancer or any cancer for that matter lowers big-profits for all those involved......

People are made to suffer when it isn't necessary. Once again, mankind's inhumanity to men and women and children! It has to be a profitable venture, otherwise there is no sense coming out with a report...."Cancer cure a fews years away!!!!" (just my words)

The Pharmaceutical companies, Hospitals, Doctors, and every other medical professional and staff do not care about the human being. There is more money to be made in not finding a cure for breast cancer or other cancers........donations for research, etc. etc. etc. It is just never ending.

There is St. Jude's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House and it breaks my heart to see all these children suffering and dying. In my heart and mind, I really believe these children could be healed!!! It's okay if someone doesn't agree with me, I'm just stating an opinion that I've held for a very long time.

The American Cancer Foundation is getting big bucks from food companies for putting their heart label on the product. It isn't because it's the best product on the market. The product could just be lower in cholesterol but may have high sodium or sugar levels, etc.

Money, money, and more money is what is uppermost in these various associations minds!!! Unfortunately, men, women, and children have to suffer the consequences to satisfy the 'GREEDY!!!!!"

There are lots of anti-cancer foods that have been available forever but the FDA will not inform the public, the doctors will not be taught about them, and anyone treating patients with natural cures are turned into criminals.

Thanks for the link and I will be researching more on the link, I am one of those women that even when I come from a family of women that never had any type of cancer I live in fear of the disease and every mammography is not only painful but leaves me with the "what if " and " what not".

I dread the test !!!!!!!! Is not easy to have what is naturally shaped to be squashed like a pancake.!!!!!!

Anyway, a long time ago I decided that I will first do everything the way nature intended before submitting myself to become a Guinea pig and a milking cow to the pharmaceutical mega industries.

Talk about tarring everyone with the same brush!

I agree with your sentiment in ways, but a lot of medical professionals do have genuine passion for what they do - would you wipe a disabled or old persons arse if you didn't have to?

I think as a rule of thumb the further up the money tree you go, the less compassion. But there are exceptions to that rule you could drive a truck through.

couple things....

what the author says about the big pharma is not limited just to breast cancer, same applies to AIDS and other diseases. Why cure when you can profit..

I do feel that the pink ribbon cause has been commercialized and is heavily marketed, walk in the malls this month and you'll find a pink ribbon sale or offer in just about every store.

But I think the author fails to admit that there is some benefits even if they may be misguided to the program, it really does bring awareness to the issue..

don't get me wrong, I agree big pharma is unethical but to be honest I don't think there are many breast cancer patients who don't inform themselves of all their options, treatments, etc, before making a decision on how to proceed with handling the disease. Sure they may not have many options, but the knowledge is available to them.

Mike Adams states in the article that mammography machines actually cause cancer so you may want to think twice about getting those tests done. Sunlight and vitamin D prevent more than 75% of all cancers. Sitting in the sun is way nicer than getting squished by a mammogram machine.

Ah, breast cancer? Where to even start?

It’s a stupid pet cause. It’s neither a leading cause of death nor a leading disease affecting women. And those aren’t the only lies they’ll tell you. And the sad thing is that the breast cancer awareness groups that spread the myths receive corporate and government funding to the tune of millions of dollars.

The Dark Age of sunblockers and UV scare. UV-A gets through for tanning, UV-B doesn't and you lose out on vitamin D. add the ozone hole scare into the mix and you've got a problem.

it is said that 15 minutes of sunlight a day will suffice but the RDA is way too low, so make that 'as much as you can possibly get'.

nice article, btw.

LOL yes, I agree!!

I am a D cup and it is painful. I have heard all women, all sizes say the same, the test is painful.

I had one test and I have not wanted to have another done again.
When they come up with something less painful then I will step right up. Even the pap smear is nothing compared to the mamogram.

It shouldn't be.
Although those d-cups and minimally endowed are more difficult to do, the test should not hurt.
The reason I know is that for years I would go and tears would run down my face.
For other reason, I switched doctors and imaging centers. The place I go to now is pretty much painless.

While I do think it is good for women to educate themselves, this pink ribbon fad is gone too far. Everyone's on the bandwagon, but I doubt the motives of many and the pharma and research industries.
(Just like many of the other colors of ribbons, BTW)
Thanks for the read

oh farout... so you found a different place to conduct the test and it didn't hurt?

Well, if that is the case, I am
cos that is terrible.

I am actually going to go and have another one now (it has been about 10 years!)

What hurt the most is not only having your boob squashed but when they move it to get it in line with the lense.

He lost me when he said this:

The pink ribbon is a symbol of male-dominated control over women. Turn the pink ribbon upside down, and it looks more like a noose. It is from this noose that innocent women everywhere hang themselves through ignorance, submitting to a treatment system that intentionally denies women access to a world of information that could help them prevent, treat and even cure breast cancer.

So every ribbon people wear for every cause from AIDS to Support the Troops represents a noose for the people supposedly benefitting from the awareness of their condition? I hear the sound of a quack.

While I'm sure there is some profiteering by the drug companies as well as every other corporation in the world, I have a hard time fathoming how it benefits them to kill off people by keeping them getting cancer. How is having their patient base die good business? Eventually you run out of customers. I know these corporations are greedy, but I really don't think they're that greedy or short sighted.

Not only do I not agree with you, but I think you should rethink your opinion. Have you ever been to St. Jude's Hospital?? Most of the children that go there are already very, very ill and very sick before they are admitted. Living here in Memphis, I have come to know several families who have had young children- 7, 10, 11 etc., etc., who have turned to St. Jude's for treatment. The outcome is positive for many patients- I know many families that are thankful for the excellent outcome of many types of brain tumors and leukemias that are treated at St. Jude's. I know of other families who have not had the same outcome, but in most of those cases it is because the disease had progressed significantly or treatment was delayed- sometime by the parents.

Oh, PS- any child can be treated at St. Jude's- regardless of there ability to pay the bill.

No he is talking about the "pink" ribbon only. And yes maybe most of these causes are benefitting the money-collectors.

Understand that their main purpose is to drain people's money by "curing" the cancer that they caused in the first place. And even if some of them die, there is an ever-growing population of new patients. Especially with the illegal immigrant population who don't know that they will get cancer from eating American processed food and using American household products.
