At long last, the Travel Channel is airing the show Mysterious Journeys, Alien Hotspots.

Why is this in BB&Q, you ask?

Because, as some of you might remember, this was the show that covered the O'Hare incident and had Springer in front of the camera for a few hours.

So, Friday, October 12, 2007, 9 PM Eastern, tune in to the Travel Channel (or set your recorders) to catch this new show and our very own Springer as he unleashes Abovetopsecret.com and our involvement on this sighting, on the cable viewing world.

All hands on deck! This site is on high alert!

Batten down the hatches and prepare for a huge new influx of members beginning Friday and running hot through the weekend!

All personnel should be aware of new people everywhere they look and attempt to have a bit more patience than usual.

Go, Springer!

For those who miss the first showing, it'll be repeated on Sat the 13th at 1:00 am and later, for the morning folks, at 10:00 am. All times listed are Eastern.

Guess I'd better dust off the old tv box...

MajorMalfunction makes an interesting point. It's sort of funny thinking of as TV as a "feeder" to the Net and shows how the mediascape is changing in "flavour" and structure. What if... the O'Hare deal happened now? Or perhaps post-11/5. Imagine.

It will be interesting to see if the numbers get a "bump". I look forward to what the new members may bring to the community and I share the concern that some reasonable care be taken in regard to what that might entail. It's all good.

Cheers,

Vic

So is there any way the members in other parts of the world can view this?

I know it is the property of the Travel Channel etc and posting it on youtube is illegal, but is there any way ATS can pull some strings to have at least the part with Springer in it podcasted through here or something?

Just a thought, because a large number of the dedicated members don't get US TV channels.

Can people please tape this and then put it on youtube/google video? Many of us arent US citizens.

Thank you.

Well, I won't be able to see it the first time through, as I'll be at work, but I'll make sure to catch it when it re-airs 4 hours later. It'll be on again at 1 am on Saturday morning as well. So, if ya miss the first airing, fear not. There's always the second one!!
