has anyone seen anything similar?

hey guys, im new to the forum but ive been reading everything on it for a while. i live in bristol, England, on christmas day this year i was at a friends where we were all outside his house smoking in his garden at around 7pm. i was looking at the opposite house when i noticed something that looked almost like a white bag on fire. it was moving very pecularly in the air maybe 50ft high. i pointed it out to my friends and none of them cud make out wat it could be. needless to say we were all a bit unsettled. one of the girls with us even started getting fairly frightened. it then started rising up towards the sky and was probably gone from view within a minute and a half. I just wondered whher anyone has seen similar things?

They set a couple of here in Zwolle... In the city! Haha everyone thought there was UFO's floating around but no...

I've seen the real ones though, but what you discribe just emidiatly reminded me of those things.

its christmas day here on december 25th. it was a different shape to that pure et it was more of a circle and it moved like something was controlling it downwards as well as upwards.

A circle ?

Now that is something different.


Those lanterns burn up after 20-25 minutes.. I'd like to know how long you observed them, and if they moved with the wind...

i distinctly remember it being strange because there was hardly any wind. i probably observes it for about a minute before it went up towards the sky and out of view.
