factories are willing to hire them illegally at less pay and no benifets .Less pay than "legal" workers and more than farmers can pay.

what's really needed is for new inventions or methods to harvest the
pieces of fruit....not merely more temporary slave laborers.


what about bands of trained howler monkeys to drop the fruit into
conveyor half-pipes... there would be an increase in 'lost' fruits
but that would work itself out in the markets forces.


lack of innovation, lack of creativity, is the problem here

no doubt not all mexicans are criminals but far too many of them commit crimes while in the usa.we have enough criminals of our own----dont need more---if the problem is that bad of not enough farm labour---our prisons are full----put the prisoners to work to help pay for their keep by working on farm chain gangs.
