This is the thing that REALLY sends me in a rage.

It SHOULD be "Gordon Brown is to give the public a chance to vote on wether or not we should help the US attack Iran"

NOT....

"Gordon Brown backs the US on attacking Iran."

This really annoys me, if we attack Iran i hope Iran gives as much as they get.

Brown hasn't got the bottle to call a snap election and he's just stalling the Inevitable of Labour losing power. It's obvious to everyone the polls put a stop to the snap elections, but no Labour come out and say they have nothing to do with there decision. This is exactly why Labour won't win the next election, there a bunch of liars and treat the British people like mugs. The scottish people have already woken up and the English aren't far behind.

The title is misleading.

The Prime Minister did not say that. He refused to rule out military action, but said he believed and wanted the crisis to be resolved by diplomacy.

Try not to cry wolf (again)

I ask this, because I want to know what type of evidence would be sufficient to convince skeptics.

Well it would have to be a damn site better than the Iraq WMD intelligence.

I think thats a given

Got to admit, it would be really odd to remove troops from Iraq, get as much publicity for it as possible, and then attack Iran. The first few considerations indicate a man getting the hell out of a situation, and unlikely to pick another one soon.

Brown involving the UK in Iran is political suicide for the Labour Party. They'd be unelectable for years if he committed to such a thing.
