some of you guys are being those annoying nit-picking debunkers who seem to deny anything without putting much thought into it first ...

I don't have to believe that DC is a copy of cydonia, but, maybe a copy of another pattern here ...

I don't take away the fact that an ancient interplanetary culture COULD have existed, so, some thing may be the same and match. Who knows, science cannot disprove it. We know so little about earth ... except we have had past cataclysmic events.

I won't get into it, because, since you guys are hardcore skeptics, you will only laugh anyway, then say ... see! my book says you are wrong! look! I found a picture of a tree with leaves in that pattern, I matched it to something common!

Why not take a step back, open you mind a bit.

I don't buy this match up perfectly ... something are a bit of a stretch, but, I do see a correlation.

I think it is asinine to pick at the 5-sided pyramid ... despite not liking the source myself ... it can be called a pentagonal pyramid ... and why don't you go look here to make yourself bite your tongue next time before playing the I'm smarter than you card:

Pyramids with regular polygon faces
If all faces are regular polygons, the pyramid base can be a regular polygon of 3-, 4- or 5-sided:

en.wikipedia.org...(geometry)

... looks like that doesn't work right, so ... copy and paste this into your browser ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_(geometry) .... you have to add the http-colon-slash-slash ... I cannot or it automatically makes it a link which does the same as the link before, it sees the parenthesis as not being part of the link string and it takes you to a different page.

to say that something is not representational because of scale ... then, why do auto-makers, building and city designers make scale models? Spacial relationship to each other IS important, scale is not. My scaled models of cars are just that ... scaled ... accurate copies ... just like a lot of scenes in the movies too.

Scale being important, wrong words, spelling, and grammar are extremely POOR excuses for arguments on either side.

Maturity is preferred. Immaturity takes away from your point and makes people ignore you.

I don't think you could match up giza to anything in my city. Maybe so, but I doubt it. The point you are exaggerating your argument to the point ANY place can show the same thing really doesn't do your point much justice.

You were better off to going into the psychology of humans wishing to see patterns than utter dismissal.

How about a serious, civil debate/discussion on the boards once in a while. If you don't agree, fine, but put some effort into it in a logical, passionate, respectful manner, please.

The History channel speaks of the face on Mars and nearby (city) civilization that created it.

This whole issue is ludicrous nonsense in the extreme. Here we have someone who took a map of Cydonia, SCALED IT TO FIT, and placed it over a map of Washington, D.C., a city that has a monument on nearly every street corner, and centered it wherever he wanted to. And surprise! Another piece of Cydonia just happens to correlate with an obscure Theodore Rooselvel monument. Did you know there was a Theodore Roosevelt monument in Washington? Neither did I. And this is supposed to be significant?

It's not. You could put the Cydonoa face on any monument in Washington, scale it as you need to, and have another piece of Cydonia hit another monument. In fact, you could put the face on Mt. Shasta in California, twist the directions a bit, scale it, and have another piece rest on San Francisco. Correlations made out of thin air where you get to make up any scale you want (How convenient!) with no reference mean absolutely nothing at all.

Another good example of refusing to deny ignorance, but instead promoting it.

First of all it's not a map of Cydonia and a map of Washington, D.C. they are real pictures! Second of all the five sided structure and the Pentagon are the starting point, stretch your imagination and relize 5=5 then the face to the White House and all else falls into place.
