Jeez those dudes over at the Bad Astronomy forums are snooty!

I was just doing a general surf on the "Alien Moonbase" and I came across the disicussion forum on Bad Astronomy basically calling all those that believe in this theory, a fringe whacko.

I like Bad Astronomy because it's informative on astronomy in general and goes a long way to give a more grounded explanation on things extraterrestrial.

But jeez! Those on the forum even TYPED HAUGHTILY!!

One guy even chortled at how he was witness to a rabid discussion between those who don't think we've landed on the moon and those who think we did land but have been warned off by aliens (I'm of the latter). Guffawing at the smudged photos and claiming it was that poster's poor photoshop work.

I've already posted that I'm a skeptical believer: I firmly believe we are being visited. I firmly believe in an alien moonbase. But please! Shapeshifting reptilians on the local news??! I'd rather have Morbo the news monster from Futurama laughing malevolently at a local news item featuring some kind of human suffering!

Anyway, how can people who avidly view the wonders of the cosmos totally dismiss the idea that other extraterrestrial civilisations are visiting us? That there may very well be an "intergalactic spaceport" on the dark side of the moon for ET tour groups to stop at before they visit the weird zoo called Earth?

Would it be possible to get the Bad Astronomy guy to come and have a chat with us and get down to what he really thinks about these possibilities?

Is shape shifting reptiles any less believable than an alien moon base? It is kind of funny how everything real is not real and is just a cover up story to the real story. I think it would hard to find an event that wasn’t considered a cover up. Hell I might not even be real writing this post, and I’m just trying to lead you away from the real story…

I was actually referring to the the fact that someone said that it "morphed" on screen in front of the cameras. And anyone could tell that it was the average video glitch...

I'm open to fact that there very well may be reptaliens amongst us but there's a lot more believeable footage of ufos flying across the surface of the moon than there are of reptaliens momentarily forgetting to adjust their camo filters!

Totally, when the topic turns to shapeshifting, this place seems to light up angry. Why? Yet there are thread after thread of "aliens" and "greys" -- maybe the majority of members are from the time that the cute, little greys imaging came out (60s drug, not-so counterculture) and only will accept EBEs as that.... think outside the box, maybe this Chris Cummingham grrl from that 2000 Playstation video is make-up less and one of our lovely neighbors!

youtube.com...

Kind of bothersome about the site since I expected more creatively-minded people. Actually, the J Lear postings about life on Venus seem more along the lines of what I'm looking for..... how can anyone claim to *debunk* lifeforms when no civilian (aside from SpaceShipOne) has been to space?

Furthermore, *shapeshifting* has been documented/witnessed by African tribes that have seem more then reptiles. And I can see why, nice, earthen people who care about tribe mentality and shamanism vs the current state of the world -- ultra, latterday capitalism, might have been *visited*

Lastly, on the OPs topic, apologies you got treated poorly at that astronomy site, obviously less open-minded people over there

Phil Plait and his "gang" are mostly a very kind, intelligent bunch. You shouldn't forget, that bad astronomy is mainly a scientific forum - less fantasy, more facts. As in every other forum, there are people with different attitudes - there are people there, who tend to believe and there are some, who don't. Actually, i know of several people ( some mods also ) from here, who also got an account at the BA site.
Overall, i see BA within the same realm as ATS, just on the other side of the spectrum - "ZOMG PERSON X TURNS INTO A REPTILIAN ON YOUTUBE" posts are not very welcome there as are things, which are just...well...fantasy or not proofable. Spaceport on the moon ? Well, show them a single piece of solid evidence and you've got a debate; without it, you'll probably get laughed at.

In anyway, don't dismiss the BA site, there's some great information there and if you introduce yourself properly, you'll have a great time there as you do here.

I choose to believe the greys, the reptilians, the Nordics, the shadow government, the illuminati, the moon bases, are all true reality. Although I’m not sure i can believe any of the alien races what so ever, are enslaving, or trying to enslave humanity.

You have to forgive the Bad Astronomy people for not believing there is a base on the moon. They trust NASA and their governments, and all school education is designed to make people think those are the sources of the truth.

It will be quite a shock to them to find out the truth in the next couple of years, if we have a complete disclosure. I hope so.

How do the people at Bad Astronomy explain the obviously airbrushed pictures of towers on the moon?
