I went to Kenny Construction's main office to ask about the hospital in question, the contractor in charge of the hospital looked at me like I was crazy for admitting to entering late at night. However he said no charges would be filed as it was a past event and there was no property damage. They were well aware someone had entered but the time was unaware. I did this after work today since someone got all ruffled over the fact that this was illegal. Exact words form the contractor after admitting we entered last summer.

"Son you and your boys must be crazy, but there was no damage done to the property and since it has been some time since the event we wont press charges. I would like to give you further access to the site although it is due for demolition in the next few months due to structural instability. You'd do yourself a good favor to stay out of there for your own safety thanks and have a good day."

Of the record he asked me if we found anything and laughed at me for being rather absent minded, I got a free coffee out of the deal for being honest. I dont know if talking to them and them not caring has any bearing to the legality of the story. But it was trashed, if the mods dont mind I will answer any further question anyone has and have responded to my U2Us.

Uhh, what hospital in question?

As I can see, you've only ever authored 2 other threads, and neither of them talk about you entering a hospital.

Yeah it was deleted because some people didnt like the legality of it and complained. The mods made a decision which isnt bad IMO its what they do. I just got home a bit ago and was hoping to talk to the people at Kenny and get permission kinda after the fact but I figured it might save the thread so that people could learn a bit and talk about it.

Ya, I got half way through your orriginal thread to find it was discontinued!!

I guess it could encourage the wrong crowd? Not sure, was an interesting read till then?

On the flip side really creates boundries for those who investigate and want to post??

What you did Kenpachi, entering an abandoned hospital, sounds a lot like 'urban exploring,' or exploring places that you aren't allowed to go. I do it a quite a bit, and I can get fined quite a lot of money for it if I get caught in the act. That's why you generally don't want to do it with fat people, as they can't run as fast
Seriously.
There are about 3 main groups here in Australia, and off the top of my head I can think of another 4 in the United States that do this. No doubt the ones in America also have links to many ghost hunting groups, as the general locations these sorts of groups like to go are the same.

But since all this is very illegal, you can't go into any detail on ATS. If you want to talk about a story in which you did something illegal, like criminally enter a building, you will have to talk about it in the third person, like you are talking about a friend that did it. And even then, it is still at the discretion of the mods.
But if you gloss over the illegal stuff and focus on the ghost stuff, then it should be alright. Unless you get a mod intent on deleting everything that bends the rules of the T&Cs at the expense of losing some of the material that makes ATS what it is.

Was your other topic seriously deleted? Pathetic.

Figures that one of the best stories (with pics) in a long time is punished while a flood of space lizards and plane hologram topics are promoted. Shame on you mods. Harassment is illegal (see space lizard spam).

Out of curiousity and since it's about to be demolished, would you mind revealing what and where this hospital is located.

Just would like to know if anything interesting could be dug up about the history of the place.

Since they gave you permission to go back od you think you will? I missed the original post and would like to see some pictures and hear the story in a legal way if that's what is required.

At least you didnt get arrested or fined and they were cool about it all. Good luck hunting!

ahh that sucks. I liked that Story too. I agree with Lightworker12. Finally get a decent read and it gets deleted because of legal issues. It's not like Kenpachi posted a thread about how to construct nuclear warheads or stink bombs.

I think you should ask a moderator if it is OK to post your story again but without the parts that go against the Terms & Conditions, maybe even show it to them first.

I found the story interesting too, and was expecting more information about it.

Stupidity is not against the T&C of ATS (unfortunately...), discussing illegal activities (although this was not a discussion of an illegal activity it was a discussion of events that happened during an illegal activity, and that was clearly posted on the thread) is against part 2e of the T&C.

While posting knowingly false, misleading, or inaccurate material is against the T&C, it is difficult to prove that someone has posted false, misleading or inaccurate material, but when that happens the perpetrator is usually banned. The thread "Ghost hunt gone wrong" was without a doubt based on an illegal activity.

Sorry for the long wait on a reply all, I will answer all of your questions in the order they were asked, btw, I did U2U the mod who trashed the story and asked if it could be reposted. We'll have to wait and see.

Re-Entering the hospital, no. Not without a team of experts at least. Nothing could happen the second time but better safe than sorry I say.

The hospital will still not be disclosed until I hear back from the mod in question.

Now I know what happened that night wasnt legal, but I find it rather shibby that paranormal "experts" are allowed to explore and everyday people are not. Generally most experts seem to get their credentials out of a cereal box, the only difference between some of these people and regular people is the effort put into making up important titles. To be 100% honest with you most paranormal ghost hunters called into help people seem to all do the same thing, pour some salt around. Record some stuff, yell at ghosts or demons, and call in a real expert, an exorcist. Some people may not like this part of my post but its just an opinion.

Yup, I missed it all.....

I'd love to read the whole story right from the beginning.
I have kinda-sorta done the same illegal activity back when I was younger.

Aw man ! Thats crap they trashed your forum, that was actually a really cool story. Do you actually plan on going back? If so definitely keep us updated.

Ive already recieved a U2U from the mod that deleted the thread and he will let me know by morning what is going on. The mods have been very cool about the situation despite me violating the terms and conditions originally and hopefully you guys will have it back up soon enough. I work hard for those interested in knowing the truth
.

I applaud you and respect the way you have accepted the Mod rulings. Though it may not be cool to some i am sure that we all know what the rules are. I am sorry i missed the thread as i mostly access ATS/BTS at work or during the day so time is limited (have a family lol) and i would have LOVED to have read it.

But i believe making an exception would cause all sorts of problems and create double standards. Perhaps, if the go ahead is given, you could relay you story again in a "legal" fashion hehehe

The go ahead has been given to retell my story without illegal activities.
