Very true. However, the power line is not in the location of where he was filming. I assure you that power line was in no danger of entering the frame from where he was shooting. Especially considering when you watch the video, the object doesn't cross the full width of the moon, and is coming down at an angle. The powerline is not what you are seeing in that video.

I completely disagree, it is a power line in the video without any doubt.

If you'll notice the Moon in the video is very bright on the left side, where the power line appears to fade out. But on the right side of the Moon the Moon is mainly in shade, this allows you to see part of the power line. The power line DOES in fact cross the entire width of the Moon. It just appears that it doesn't because the camera is slightly off focus from the nearby power line and the bright lefthand side of the Moon is bleeding out the slightly out of focus power line.

New video taken the same night as staggs video some 75 miles away.

Disagree if you will. However, having just been there in person, I know for a fact that the power line was in no danger of crossing the moon from where he was filming. Until I am able to get some pictures, we will have to agree to disagree on this issue.

That being said... Look at this picture I just took earlier in my own backyard.



All I did was walk out into the backyard and snap a picture. I think it's the same thing we see on the video.

As I said, think that all you want, but power lines such as that were in no position to be in the frame from where he shot the video. I'll take my first person perspective as opposed to your purely assumptional assessment.

Of course, until I can manage to get some photo proof of this, I'll continue to fall on deaf ears. Although I wouldn't have it any other way.
