Back again...got my "real" work done...

At the risk of being repetitious, with all humility I have to say what I said several pages ago, namely that the centre is not ATS of itself. ATS/TAN is effectively nothing without its members. The same goes for any even remotely similar entity. So the centre, I still think (as I'm awfully stubborn) relates more to people than it does to one specific thing/gadget or named organization. I've previously suggested "The Crowd", "Everyone", "Imagination", "The Human Mind", and some others along those lines but which I'd have to check back to find. But as Crakeur says

then I am led again to concepts of what is most unlimited in some ways but easily defined in others -- namely, the things I’ve already said above.

What is this bug where the first post on the new page always disappears until the second post is in ? Am I the only one noticing this??

Well, what are the options of spot?

Opts...Stop...Tops... and, of course... Post.

Our posts? Is what we post at the centre? Not just in the sense of posts here on these ATS forums, but everything we put on line to add content, share and ideate within the ecosystem? No posts, no evolution...And posts are what we see...

Oh btw, in regards to your previous post, yes we noticed the fact that on a long thread it won't go to a new page when the first post is there. In that case, just go up to the url in the browser and change the page number at the end of it to "force" the next page to display. You can do that to quickly access any page in a thread, actually.

Edited a few times to fix things and make it clearer. Maybe.

Excuse me, Bill, but we are not...

Just on my own account, I've posted at least five times on this thread in recent days that this is bigger than ATS alone...that ATS alone is not the centre.

Edited to add: I checked back through my posts and there are at least seven where I either state that ATS (alone) is not the centre and/or this is bigger than ATS -- or at least made statements to give those same two concepts. At least seven posts. And I am not the only one. I haven't re-checked all the posts on the thread but there are others who have said similar things. In other words, we took note of what you have previously said. And what Springer said as well.

Communities in the clouds... the sky is the "no limit", Skype-tech (or one like it), if added to the TAN user expererience would be a revolution for federated connectedness in research when integrated with a multi-format, multi-plenum tech-hub like the conceptual framework.

It or something similar might even facilitate all the "stuff" mentioned so far in research, enetrtainment, monetization (important) and cultural connectedness while retaining the pre-existing identity and community ethos that has been evolved. But better... Beyond 3.0 somewhere. The "art of the deal".

Conferencing, file transfer, calls, video, data, mobile, all-the-casts, hard copy media, lifestyle, live, V-chat, music, video, talk, work-space, "live-space", you, your friends, neighbours, country-persons, listen and be heard. create, ideate, "neural" integration... game on! Anything-anytime-anywhere. Digitally, wireless, "Vorld". 53.5 hours, SO up at two E... wish I could listen "here".

great post with a lot in it, some of which I don't understand. Yet, I mean. Give this old guy time. I'm getting a little more each day.

Any flash of inspiration for the centre sphere? It is, after all, the key.

Not a clue JustMike. The confluence of the old world and new world, and the meeting of the virtual and "rea'l" (everything is reality), would be something to consider. But who knows what specific term was chosen...that may depend on "the deal or deals" or it could be something as yet unknown entirely. New stuff happens and it won't go away until superceded by other new stuff. Bigger, stronger, lighter, faster, better. Not a clue... like the movie.

Okay.

I'll have to leave it for a while. I have something more important to do. I'm writing a story about a flower.

Maybe that doesn't seem to connect but I don't think we should mind if that happens sometimes. It seems to me that sometimes, when we leave something alone, that's when what it means is really revealed to us.

I think Stephen was refering to websites...all websites.
As the center, but linking to all things around, and not limited to ATS BTS.
Must look far beyond what you have for the remaining spheres, I think.
