Can you people help me with some research I am doing?

Which do you think is the best (including value for money) range of Military Trucks available for a rapid reaction force?

The German MAN trucks?

The US FMTV and HEMMT trucks?

Unimogs?

Any site info, PDF, image or video links would be appreciated.

I am especially concerned with European Technology...

Anyone in service actualy used any of these?

What about the vehicle that's being updated by United Defense? (M118 is it? It's called the Hercules) It is used as a troop transport and as a mobile hospital.

The unimog is too light and the early Hemmt trucks could get stuck very easily because their torque converter stall speed was set to low.

Westpoint, I thought every U.S. Army base only had 1 truck per base. At the top of a flag pole in the center of the base. oh wait, *vehicles* not trucks
