Presidential Candidates willing to use nuclear weapons at Iran

Greetings

Many USA presidential candidates are willing to use nuclear weapons in a war with Iran, including but not limited to Mayor Rudy and Hillary Clinton. This is very worryng to me. If United States use nuclear weapons at Iran, this would have a long lasting effects on civilians and bordering countries. This would also make it easier for other countries to use nuclear weapons, because when one country does it, it comes more acceptable. This was not the case after Hiroshima, because other countries didn't have nuclear weapons at that time.

I really think that nuclear weapons should be the last line of defense, and not the first line of offense. I read and know alot about modern weapons, i visit many military boards and strategy boards, and many of my friends condemn these talks about useing nuclear weapons. If i'm quite honest, i don't know in what kind of reality USA's political leaders are living in? If they are military might, and have largest and most advanced military in the whole worlds history, then why don't they use normal missiles and strategies. This would save civilian lives, the nuclear weapon might not kill even one man when it strikes in the desert, but the radioactive particles will kill MANY.

I think the strategy is to claim "Look no one died, it was just an military installation" and then many people think oh yeah maybe that was acceptable. I would like to get imput from other people on their views on the matter, let's discuss and think about this. USA leaders must know that the citizens will not tolerate the use of nuclear missiles as an offensive weaponry.

Frankly if the US uses nuclear weapons in Iran, in whatever reduced capacity as far as only attacking nuclear or military infrastructure with high grade conventional or low grade nookular ( Blame GWB for the spelling) this would mean the end of the world as most of us know it...

Frankly it would be a stupid, shortsided grab for energy type of attack...Could you possibly imagine the US trying to support regime change in both Iraq and Iran at the same time ??

The US will need the draft to support this...

Not to mention their abject failure in Iraq...Disposing a "dictator" who managed to keep the peace amongst 90% of the population...

can you possibly imagine the ramifications of the US and its only ally, Israel attacking Iran ?

Kiss goodbye global economic stability and growth, all in the name of greed on the part of the US and in the name of "religion" on the part of Israel...

Indeed, and i'm sure most goverments would be upset if they would use nuclear weapons at Iran, they might not say anything in public, but i'm sure they would not like it.

If they did use a nuclear weapon against Iran then it's game over.

As others have said, this would make it more acceptable and everyone would start chucking them around. No-one, even allies of the US would stand for it and they would find themselves besieged on all sides by those they thought they could trust.

The US has alot of enemies, some open about it, others hiding behind false smiles and 'friendship'. If the US nuked someone, then this would give the enemies a good reason to 'stop' them.

The way I see it, no-one is stupid enough to use a nuclear weapon and those with the capability to know the ramifications of such an attack.
