Russia's First Lady Lyudmila Putina was going on stage in Varna, Bulgaria, when a spotlight suddenly exploded. Two women in the audience got hit by falling glass, and were rushed to a hospital with minor injuries.

Spotlight Explodes over Putin Wife's Head in Bulgaria


A spotlight exploded Tuesday over the tribune in Culture and Sport Palace in Bulgaria's Varna at the moment when Russia's First Lady Lyudmila Putina went on the stage to speak at the congress of the International Association of Russian language and literature teachers.

The spouse of Russian President Vladimir Putin has not been injured, Darik News reported.
