even though he has horrible knees now and has lost his past couple, my favorite mma fighter will always be kazushi sakuraba...
i am a huge fan of his style of grappling..
back in the day the unwritten rule was don't give your back...saku seems to do this as a technique...
royce had to throw in the towel after a 90 minute fught with saku
saku broke renzo gracie's elbow
choked out rampage
literally spanked ryan gracie in the ring
locked royler gracies arm in such a nasty keylock that if the ref had not stopped it, he would have snapped it...
he was famous for tearing your thighs up with kicks as you lay on the ground.....i remember when he fought vitor belfort at pride 5....he had belfort
on his back, popped right out of his guard and then started rocking his legs.....belfort literally could NOT stand up anymore...right over.
he's 21-10 right now with 14 wins by submission...
I like the guys that promote MMA and the UFC as an actual sport, and not a bunch of punks who are street fighting. Dana White has taken big strides
to have people that do not pay attention to the sport, to see it as a sport and not an act of brutality.
After the recent debacle at UFC 75, I am a big fan of Matt Hamill. Watching him on The Ultimate Fighter, I was always a fan. But the way he carried
himself after getting shafted, I've got plenty of respect for that guy.
Randy Couture, Rampage, Liddell, Matt Hughes, Griffin.
I could name plenty more.
As for Tito, his pre-fight intensity and entrance are by far the best in the business.
Two fighters that I love to watch enter the ring are, Arturo Gatti with thunderstruck cranked in the background. And Tito Ortiz with Mosh pumping.
One fighter that I have lost all respect for, and truly do not enjoy watching, is Rashad Evans. In his last fight with Tito, he was an arrogant sob
in the ring, and continued to "dance" around in cocky fashion.
Some fighters have a certain style, but his is something that I find disrespectful to the opponent.
With Rashad, it seems like it's more about how he looks then how he performs.
