Dead man wakes up under autopsy knife

CARACAS (Reuters) - A Venezuelan man who had been declared dead woke up in the morgue in excruciating pain after medical examiners began their autopsy.

Carlos Camejo, 33, was declared dead after a highway accident and taken to the morgue, where examiners began an autopsy only to realize something was amiss when he started bleeding. They quickly sought to stitch up the incision on his face.

Yikes. The auto accident would have been enough to declare "I'm having a bad day." My guess is those coroners were probably on the verge of heart attacks when this guy came to. Pretty wild.

Well at least the surgeons were competent enough to know that corpses dont bleed . Wonder why the paramedics missed the minor detail of not being dead

Wow that is scary. At least he wasn't buried alive though.

Man that's really weird. I guess the people who declared him dead must have felt really stupid when they found out he wasn't really dead!

Could have probably had a bit of fun with that if he hadnt been so spooked by waking up on an autopsy table. Couldve chased the offending parties around the hospital for a bit of fun

The question in my mind is...Who had the bigger scare?

Oh man, the first thought I had when I read the title was, "Heroes".

I also see a lawsuit coming.

I learned from the TV box that it can be hard to tell if really really fat people are dead or not.

Maybe this guy is really really fat!
