Ufo over England - 2007 ?

Hope this hasn't been posted already if it has, my apologies. Did a quick search and couldn't find a thread on it. Anyway, I found this video and it was recently posted on disclose.tv. It was taken by an amateur cameraman named Simon Beard. It might have taken place in or near Notting. UFO video
It shows a clear video of a spinning UFO with a nice zoom closeup in the evening news. I was wondering if any ATS member in England saw or knows anything more on this sighting. Although it seems a bit grainy like an old video, I was trying to see if anything jumps out as a recent event on the scrolling news bar at the bottom. I did find an article about a recent running of the bulls accident with dozens injured like the one at the end of the video ticker. source: running of the bulls event
However, it is not definite. Just wish they would give more details. Anyway, just thought it was a decent video.

Good clip,don't recall seeing that on the news.
If it was,you would hope that the news team would perform some kind of analysis on the video in order to determine its authenticity before showing it.
Although,on second thoughts they usually leave that to the EXPERTS here at ATS !!
It could be a man made UFO as it was only traveling slowly (maybe a helium filled RC craft).
Or it could be military.
Who knows it may be extraterrestrial-Wiltshire has many strange sightings,crop circles and the like.

edit:just watched the vid again-Can you hear some kind of engine noise on the video?
I think I can,may have been added later for effect by the "disclose TV" crew-it would be interesting to find out from the guy who filmed it.

Full Credit for looking but I seem to remember this UFO was purposefully made by a team of UK engineers for a TV programme in the early 90s.
The team then sent the UFO off over the English countryside and many people phoned up the authorities to report it.

Ahhrg,no way Karl-that program was in the back of my mind when I saw the clip.I didn't see it though only heard about it.
You could be right there.The light does look very human made to me,but its still a good job and I still want one.

Yes thats definately the one they made. It was a helium filled balloon, remote controlled. I saw the TV programme.

Hmm,oh well I guess that settles it-but I still want one.
I'll try to find a copy on the net but it will be hit and miss as i can't remember the name of the show.

Thanks for the replies guys. This one seemed somewhat aged to be a 2007 video. I love good videos. Too bad this one is man made and probably has a lot of limitations. However, that's the whole point of this forum. To bring sightings to the attention of others and solving the mysteries together. That's why I decided to post here. Good job!

I agree this video of a ufo looks to false. I didn't see this on the news however but studying it further i would say it definately isn't a ufo. Didn't know about the man made craft thought good try but not quite right!
I have seen a few ufo's over the years none looked liked this one, they were mainly cigar shaped although they were visible by the naked eye they moved so quick you only had a second or two before it disappeared.

Searching for Jodi Jones I have found some pages about her murder in 2003.

If this is the same Jodi Jones then this case is from 2003 and was "restyled" as a 2007 case, a common trick these days.

This is deffinetely from the guys that made the ufo then flew over the countryside.

They had a problem keeping it central hence the slight off centre dipping in the craft.

Did look pretty convincing though when i saw this documentry years ago.

If i remember correctly they flew the craft right over a country pub with loads of people sitting in a beer garden, looks on there face was priceless.

The show aired on the BBC was called "A Very British Hoex" I do hope this is what you were refering too.
