There will be a revolt when the federal reserve system fails. Shouldn't be long now.

So I see some yes's and some no's. I guess the idea would be to weed out the corrupt few and change not just our government but out way of life, Then Its all about sacrifice, right?

Thousands upon thousands or young men and women sacrifice there lives for a idea not of there own. Chances are if you ask a few you get different answers as to why they join the cause. Money for an education, hell that why I joined. Patriotism? most young people don't even know what it is let alone want go and die for it.

Why can we be constructive instead of destructive, we are so capable of becoming a space age race instead we are still barbaric baboons flinging pooh at each other. Some how I think that even if we were attacked by aliens we’d still be fighting like selfish kids. Prove me Wrong aliens lol “Please”!!

Well If we would shut down the boarders we wouldn't have to worry much would we? The problem in Iraq is that we cant control that whole country with the number of troops we have and its not the army's job to hold their hands and show them what to do after many years. After we got Saddam we should have left. Stop letting the Arabs in the country and the problem is solved. If an Arab country threatens you like Iran then make it where they pose no threat.

Pardon my ignorance, but what Iraq has to do with 9/11 and why our government felt the necessity to invade, rape and destroy that nation? Terrorist in Iraq now are there because our government brought them there.

I still can not get what in the heck we allow this mad president in the white house keep linking Iraq with 9/11, like people in this nation are completely clueless but then again, we do have people that still believe in Santa and the Eastern bunny.

Wow, I do believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny. You mean they aren't real? Well call me stupid.
To answer your question about your ignorance I cannot help that. If you cannot see the reason to fight a war over there rather than right here in the good old USA I cant help ya. Get this one little tidbit.
Since 9/11 there has been NO TERRORIST attack on American soil. Don't you wonder why? I guess you think its because they suddenly decided to leave us alone huh? No they are still plotting and planning for another attack. The Patriot Act among things and intelligence agencies are keeping them at bay. Also we are fighting them in IRAQ where they are assembled and thats a good thing. When you go to sleep tonight thank the US Troops and the POTUS that they are taking the fight to the enemy to allow you to have the opportunity to denigrate them at every chance you get. Isn't that ironic?

There is still absolutely no evidence finding that the Iraqi regime had ties to those that bombed us. Since day one of the Bush administration he said he wanted to find a way to take out Sadam. If you pay attention to what they are saying about Iran, it is the same rhetoric and they are next.

There was no solid reason to invade Iraq.

So much wonderful discussion here! THIS is why I like ATS and The Internets(tm) in general! The perspectives, egos, and observations of people come together, where all is eventually filtered through our own individual belief systems and added to the collective consciousness!

I so agree with souls:
We ALREADY ARE in OPEN REVOLUTIONS!
The Liberated Internet is a Weapon (tool) of Mass Destruction (Uncensored Information)!

If deceit is the order of the day, truth is truly destructive.

We are in a war of information and belief, a war within the mind itself. If we take this war into the physical world by way of violence and hardship, we have already lost our liberty to those who attempt to convince us of our slavery.

A person at liberty (the proverbial free man) ALWAYS has a choice.

Only a young-evolving or disillusioned being would mistake the right path as the only option... and chances are what is 'right' will quickly be revealed as neither black nor white, but one of many colors.

My brethren, we are free of their ravenous and self-destructive ideology the moment we wish ourselves to be! No man, let alone any government or ruling party, has sway over the temple that is your mind, body, heart, and soul... except for YOU. If you see destruction and evil, it is INSIDE YOU. If you see torture and war, it is INSIDE YOU. If you see hope and healing, IT IS INSIDE YOU!

I know things look pretty insane on the outside, but trust me...
All is going according to plan!

We will have our true Golden Age, where Man is Enlightened and realizes he is one of many in the universe and in the great creation itself. We will have our joyous return to the fabled garden, all transgressions against ourselves forgiven - because the violator was none other than the violated.

Do not look into distant lands and far away bunkers for the reason there is deceit, treachery, and suffering in your world.
Just look into the mirror...

...

And if you already know all of this 'Me-in-the-Mirror' BS... GREAT!
Doesn't it feel wonderful to be here and now?
Isn't it a relief to look at others and maintain your separation?
Aren't you so grateful to be past the phase of outside interference and blame?

We are our own creators! The Revolution is upon us!

FREE OUR MINDS!

Earthman did you write this? This is brilliant!

Should there be a revolt? Well according to Thomas Jefferson "Every generation needs a revolution." The last time this country saw anything close to a revolution were mass protests against the war in Vietnam. But I don't think there will be. And it won't be televised yet. The MSM quoted only a few thousand showed up for the march on Washington Sept. 15th- one protestor on youtube said 100,000. (A little bad language in the video.)
www.youtube.com...

The majority of the public, even though they are not happy with the Democratic Congress and the Republican Administration still seem to think that voting for "their party" will change something. Most have not figured out that they are two sides of the same coin, and continue to argue amongst themselves about which party is better, or Communist, or Socialist, or conservative, or whatever. I actually had someone tell me that I should vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a woman, and would end the war. Oh, you mean that war she voted for? And I further resent the implication that I should vote for a woman because I am a woman, and detest women who are voting for her only because she is a woman.

So most people take in what they see on the local or cable news, and go on about their lives, their jobs, enjoy their comforts, etc. Although I will say that with the internet and access to sites like youtube and news from around the world this slowly seems to be changing, especially with the younger generation and "older" peopel liek me who turned away from their TV's when reality TV became all the rage. But it is not happening fast enough. And having access to such information still does not seem to make the majority of people want to go out and seek it.

And those of us who are paying attention could revolt, but then you have to consider that those of us who study conspiracy theories have probably discovered the FEMA camps and non-lethal technologies like Silent Guardian, and they don't sound too fun.

George Orwell said, "One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes a revolution in order to establish a dictatorship." Perhaps that's what they are banking on- that either we will all go on about our business and slowly let our freedoms dissolve, or that there will be a revolution thereby allowing them to establish control. (Problem, reaction, solution.)

Weagle, the current "war on terrorism" is really nothing but a religious war between Christianity and Islam... It is a renewed crusade of sorts in an effort to try and regain power that the two religions perceive they have lost.
