As of right now, I am not too concerned with all the talk about the North American Union. From what I have read from credible news sources, the focus is on transportation, energy, food safety, pandemics and so on - including border security - but no mention of an EU type of cooperative.

Even the "Super Highway" is far to ambitious to ever become a reality anytime soon.

The Seattle Times has a nice, simply written article about this.
