Turkish Police Thwart Terror Bombing

Police in Turkey's capital, Ankara, have prevented a large bomb from exploding, the city's governor said.

Sniffer dogs detected a van stuffed with explosives in the centre of the city, preventing a "possible catastrophe", Governor Kemal Onal said.

Security had been tightened in the city ahead of the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in the United States.

It's great that was stopped, but I'll say again it's very worrisome that so many attempted bombings have seemingly taken place all over the world lately.

Heh... eerie, I actually posted a dream I had regarding a terror attack in Turkey at the same time as in Denmark a week or two ago xD
Would be freaky if it turns out that the terrorists in Turkey have connections to the Danish ones. (for me anyways...)
