Papoose

Hello,

Anyone ever heard of an artist named Papoose? He is a hip hop artist but doesn't do that I got jewelry or hoes type of music, he does good music.

He's also a very versatile artist.

yea i know of papoose he got a 1.3 mil doller lable deal....and unfortunatlly his album sale were very lax so his carer will probaly plumit.....the state of the industry these days is pretty lame....but if your looking for a good artist who does do formula hiphop...id also offer you if you haavent already listed to try some,common,mosdef,talib kwali,dead prez...some of my fav's

yea he's decent. Don't know what will happen with him. Lotta ppl I know used to compare him to Big L. He's no Big L, RIP, but not bad tho...

papoose is hit or miss most of the time..

that being said, when he does hit, it's usually pretty good

the alphabet song he did was pretty dope

Papoose annoys me. Yes, the man is skilled in delivery, and is certainly better than most of the guff on the market. However, "Alphabetical Slaughter" is just a rip-off of an idea by Saigon, who did "The letter P" with Kool G Rap. Saigon, in my opinion, is a far superior MC, but has been slept on by all but the mixtape circuit. He's been around before 50 Cent got signed, yet he still remains where he is.
