Doubt Israel will exist long-term

Wow so many people who have never read the bible. Israel will never be defeated in war again yet only to be fooled by the anti-crist in his peace process. Sound familiar? Israel as a country will live forever says god himself. Its Jews denial of Jesus that has brought their troubles in the first place. Why has every two bit dictator always gone after the Jews, Has anyone thought about that?
When God choses you as his chosen people to live and preach his will and you turn your back to him, He is bound to teach you a lesson you will never forget.

Yep it's getting worse and worse as our civilization sinks into a post-christian abyss. People have no idea the detailed and specific prophecies in the Bible concerning the Jews and Israel. Israel is here to stay folks get used to it. You'll just frustrate yourself trying to fight God. Look what happens to the Arabs whenever they decide to attack Israel.

Let's be even more reasonable here, I will not mention the bible in this.
More and more Christians and Jews are being persecuted in the Middle East.
I do not mean just Palestine, I mean Iraq, Egypt, and other places. If Islam can not co-exit with other religions then why must the Israelis let them in their state?
If you do not think the Hamas will plan an attack within the first week then you are wrong. If you are a part of an organization that condemns certain people, and you do not think they should be alive, would you want those people to let you on their land? I would not.

I agree with subz... Israel will not last out the century, at least in its current configuration. Its internal Arab population is rapidly out breeding its internal Jewish population 2 to 1 (the rate I have heard) and the Arabs of the west bank, the pace is even greater. Eventually Jews will become the minority in Israel and then will be their real test... are they truly a democracy and start sharing power or won't they. If they do there will be no turning back and eventually there will be a merging of Israel, Gaza and the right bank into a greater Palestine, which is what should have been set up in the first place, and Israel proper will cease to exist.

The problem is Israel don't do themselves any favours. They have stolen a hell of a lot of Palestinian land since Israel was created. You just have to take a look at these maps to see why the Palestinians are not too happy:

The land grabs of Israel and the pushing of the Palestinians out are obviously a form of aparthid and ethnic cleansing. These maps show that clearly... thing is the Jews are still rapidly becoming a minority in their own country

Well...I wouldn't use the Bible as a means to stay whether Israel will exist for a long term or not. It's not a good source due to the amount of different interpretations.

As many have said, the demographics show the Jewish population will be out numbered by Arabs. Birth rate is the factor here.

The likely hood is Israel becoming a secular state not a Jewish state in the long term, that doesn't mean the land will no longer be called "Israel", but it will simply change and alter in constitution.

By the way, These figures are incorrect.

People have only taken Birth rate into account. Mortality Rate/Age expectancy hasnt been taken into account.

My guess is Israeli's live longer, and the survival rate of their young is also much greater.

The amount of ignorance and racism on this forum is astonishing. I find it so ironic that the ones who claim to be "denying ignorance" are really the most ignorant ones of all.

I only hope you clowns never have to deal with radical Islam like the Israelis do each and every day of their lives. Actually, maybe if a few of you had to see your family members and friends ripped to pieces by a suicide bomber while they were just going about their lives like the rest of us you would change your tune real fast.

In fact all the nations will fight against Israel to try to destroy her and fail! If that isn't a sign that God's hand is on Israel then I don't know what is. This is why most people hate Israel for no reason. The evil one can't stand having such an obvious proof of the sovereignty of God.

How people can ignore the facts of what scripture present is beyond me. The only logical argument against such truth is the argument of "self-fullfilling prophecy". The idea that the Bible is so open to interpretation and can be interpreted in many ways is a cop-out argument that doesn't hold water. It's simply a way to try and deny truth.

How can the above prophecy be interpreted any other way?
1. God will restore Israel to their land.
2. They will prosper
3. They will never fall as a nation again.

Just because they're from Palestine, doesn't mean they are all Muslims. The PLO was a secularists organisation.

Not everyone in the Middle East is a Muslim.

Stereotyping isn't a good thing btw.
