What concert have you recently attended!?

I can't stop thinking of a concert I went to last week!

Alice in Chains, and Velvet Revolver.

Alice in Chains sounded greater than ever, though, Layne Staley wasn't there (r.i.p) William Duvall did a fantastic job. Velvet played a few STP and GNR songs.

I saw Queens of the Stone Age on August 25th. Some band called "Cage The Elephant" opened for them and I didn't think much of them, but QOTSA rocked as always.

My life used to be about seeing cool concerts and great bands and scoring tickets to impossible to attend events like the Grammys, Musicares benefits (honoring Bono one year, Elton John another), The Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary show and The Concert For New York.

Now it's about my kids.

Last two concerts attended. The Wiggles and, more recently, The Doodlebops. I will be attending (gasp) the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus show in December with my daughter. On the plus side, I get to use my contacts for these events too so my daughter might get to meet her idol.

Paul Stanley in Atlantic City back in October 06' - haven't been to another one since then.

Went to see my mates band play 2 weeks ago, TIDAL. They've finished recording their new cd and are just starting to get back out and play the new stuff before the cd launch sometime in october/november.

And i'm saving up for "A Taste of Chaos" in October. :bnghd:
