Good find!!! It sure sounds like the first reports were taken seriously by both the news people and the authorities. Which makes it all the stranger that this story has just "gone away" now. I hate to sound like so many who blame the "gobmint" all the time, but it sure looks like the media was told to leave this alone and let it die.

Well, here they are....
if yo look close you can see the tree line. These at least show how dark it was out and how this had its own light, by the way there was clouds near by but they werent glowing like this was.

Don't know if anyone has seen this you tube video or if it may be the same sort of craft.
It was taken over the marina in Belmar New Jersey some time ago. People were commenting that they thought it might be test flights of the TR3-B anti grav craft.

I'm sorry my story isn't related to this discussion. I guess I should post a new thread I don't want to take away from this thread.

Thanks for clearing that up. I only asked because the dates on the photos are from January 1, 2005 @ 12:00 and 12:03 respectively.

Very cool!

It's too bad you didn't get some shots of this event before it began to dissipate.

It would have been interesting to see this while it still had "distinctive lines"

Thanks for the pics, Alien Abduct.

Call me paranoid but I find trying to view this thread is causing the site to time out everytime I changed page!! How odd!

I'm still struggling to find anything in google news about this, Im guessing its just going to fade away

Still im suprised we havent been hit by a CGI hoax youtube vid of the event yet!....... Still the thread is still young!

By the way I think it was mentioned a few pages ago but as well as the Great Yarmouth sighting another UFO was seen in the UK town of Banbury on Saturday night the paper is calling for witnesses.

Banbury Ufo

Maybe we should complile as many sightings world wide for this time period and see what we come up with.

Cheers

Paul

I think I there is some important question to ask either to the local news or government officials of the area is if the source of this medical waste can be determined.

If they want to use that as an excuse then let's use it against them to see how long they can give that explanantion before they change it to something else.

I know that if this were to happen where I live the news would be all over it trying to determine the source, and forcing officials to come up with some answers.

Has any official or news agency has commented on that aspect?

I believe if they are pressed to come with some responses that will be the quickest path to expose a cover up, if they change there explanation then the next question will be, what they were REALLY looking for that night, what was so important that they need it to close beaches on one of the busiest weekends of the year.

Having lived in Jersey all my life I can say that whenever medical waste has washed up on the beach in large enough quantities to close them, there has always been an investigation and the source found and fined. Very rarely these days does this happen, which is what sparked my interest the other day when I heard the report. I was on the beach last night and again this morning, and there was not a single thread of medical waste, or for that matter any type of garbage around. Not even seaweed, which is typical on the beaches.

If I hear or read anything about the source here in the local papers I will post it immediately.

Thanks, also other questions worth investigating are:

What time the authorities were alerted of such waste presence?

Who was contacted first, police, fire deparment?

Who make the call to them?

I mean, it takes time from when emergency responders are first call, to then notify the appropiate agency and then the agency put a team together get all the equipment need it to perform the clean up.

That should take some time, specially on a holiday weekend, I mean unless someone gave them the heads up that something might be going down and they had a team already on the alert.

Alien Abduct, I live in Central Florida (tampa area) on a flight path, and as of late have seen some VERY strange things happening over my fairly populated town and my roomate can attest to a UFO sighting which had occured in mid-july. Since then we've seen black low-flying choppers, blue and yellow ones doing weird flight patterns flying VERY low, apaches flying over in formation again very low at 2:45 and then 3:45 am two consecutive nights, and I also saw a UFO august 1st at around 12:30 pm from a Cumberland Farms gas station. Something crazy is going on in the FLA skies no doubt.

As for New Jersey, people joking about the new Roswell should be people seriously concerned but alas, it will always be a joke, except to the hundreds? that witenessed it. Something HAS to surface now. SOMETHING. First O'Hare in January this year, with MANY witnesses seeing a cloud punching craft shoot vertically into the sky and not detected by FAA instruments was swept under the rug. Now Florida is poppin off, and now the East Coast. The poo is hitting the fan, or our Government is just like ah they know, let's just test crafts over heavily populated areas now. (In Wisconsin I was used to seeing crazy things in the sky, but it's so rural...now they're showing up at airports, the Jersey shore, all over Florida, wtf.)

Well.. It looks like the local media have already decided on the final prognosis, no questions asked...

The Star Ledger

Well then it MUST have been a meteor. Case closed...right?

Well, um, I didn't see it but, it was probably....

It's hilarious that the media consult these "experts" that didn't even see the event and print what they think it "could have been".

In doing so, the experts' speculations become "the truth" or what is real to us.

By interviewing eyewitnesses and government officials, who may actually know what really happened, perhaps a reality that few care to face will become the truth.

If people don't write to places like this and tell them what they think of them denying ignorance, then they will only continue to do this to us and get away with it, I have been doing my writing.

We need pictures, we need people coming forward and talking and not letting the news agencies to get away with this.

Aren't there any people in Normany Beach and/or surrounding areas that took a picture of this, didn't they see anything and if they did why aren't they talking?

We need eyes and ears from members in the area to get us whatever they can whenever they can.

cw has done an excellent job and I guess all we can do is wait to see if anything new comes forward.

I am still surprised we haven't heard anything from Springer.

Does this meteor shower was advertised prior to the incident? I mean I see in the news that everytime a lunar or solar eclipse is coming the subject is brought up in the local sometimes nationwide news, I have seen that happening with meteor showers as well.

Was it brought up in the local news of the area, or all we have here is after the fact experts comenting on what that might have been?

I don't know what the procedure is for cleaning up medical waste on a beach is, but I'm trying to think this through.

According to the news article found here:

Medical waste closes N.J. beaches

Apparently the beaches were closed on Sunday after reports of "waves of trash". They were then reopened on Monday. So, within a 24 hour period, officials were able to make an assessment of the situation, get a cleanup crew out there to clean up 8 blocks, then decided that no more trash was washing up and was safe again for the public use.

I know they were wanting to do this quick to reopen for the holiday, but is this normal? If I was over there on holiday, I certainly wouldn't even consider going near that beach.
