Why Did It Take Ten Years Since Princess Diana's Death To Even Begin An Inquiry?

news.yahoo.com

Al Fayed maintains that Diana, whose eldest son William is second-in-line to the throne, was killed as part of an establishment plot led by Queen Elizabeth II's husband Prince Philip due to opposition to her potential marriage to a Muslim.

There was a British police report nine years after the death of Diana & Dodi and now finally after 10 years a British inquiry will begin. The body guard assigned to Diana, Trevor Rhys Jones was sitting in the front passenger seat and he survived a head smash into the wind screen while everyone else hit the same wind screen and died. Trevor allowed the drunk French driver Henri Paul to drive and at high speeds (a body guard whose duty it is to minimize danger for the clients).

Al Fayed is still seething that:

A)He was refused a British passport many times

B)After finally getting within grabbing distance of respectability with his son and Diana, they get killed and he's back to square one as a grubby
little shopkeeper, Big shop, but hes a shopkeeper, nothing more.

Place D'Alma where they were killed is one of those places you really dont want to be speeding. The road becomes an underpass and as it suddenly sinks down, a speeding car can momentarily 'unload' and the steering becomes very soft. I did that test with a friend a few years back and also drove along the road last week.

I suspect the whole thing was simply an unfortunate accident caused by speeding and that place. 10MPH less and they would have probably just zoomed through.

Al Fayed wont let it go though, hes as mad as a bucket of worms

It took ten years because her murder was an inside job. The MI6 worked in conjunction with French federal forces in order to kill her and Dodi Fayed, and to make it look like an accident.

Al Fayed, father of Dodi, did not need Princess Diana in order to establish credibility. That notion is ridiculous. The man is a very successful multi-millionaire. To say that he is only a storekeeper is like saying that Bill Gates is only a software engineer.

In at least one of her letters, Princess Diana identified the man in power that she felt would have her murdered: Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The Royal Family, under Prince Philip and backed by Queen Elizabeth, ordered Princess Diana's death. They did not want a non-British citizen and a Muslim to marry her and to have a child with her. She was also resented for her popularity and international influence. However, they did not anticipate the reaction of the public to her sudden death.

The rest is a story of cover-up and deception, similar to the John F. Kennedy presidential assassination. However, the latter did not have a federal agent go public with the truth. In this case, there was someone who did just that: former MI6 agent Richard Tomlinson.

Richard Tomlinson has testified that Princess Diana may have been murdered by the British government, in cooperation with French authorities.

Tomlinson claims that MI6 may have been responsible for the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. He has claimed that Britain's Secret Intelligence Service was monitoring Princess Diana before her death and that her driver on the night she died, Henri Paul, was an MI6 informant, and that her death mirrored plans he saw in 1992 for the assassination of Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic.

Tomlinson was arrested by French Authorities in July 2006 after a European Arrest Warrant, requested by Great Britain, was issued...

Richard Tomlinson has now been effectively gagged by the injunction imposed on him by Lord Goldsmith; prior to the judicial inquiry into the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and her companions.

Source

Those are the reasons behind the delay in the investigation into Princess Diana's death, an assassination that was made to look like an accident

Al Fayed is correct in his accusations and conclusions.

I am an oriental and therefore a wog in the eyes of someone like Prince Phillip. I am going to be brutal so I hope the moderators understand and excuse. The British monarchy was barely hanging on when Diana came along and married big ears, then she divorced him and was having an open fling with a wog (Dodi). To the British Royalty this was the last straw. Now there was this very real possibillity that the future king of Great Britain, Prince William would share a mother's womb with a wog. The great reluctance of the British to even begin investigating is like a big banner saying if she died by conspiracy good.....we don't want to find out the truth. The once mighty British Empire which ruled the waves and the sun never set on the Union Jack could have been reduced to being reigned by william whose half brother was gunga din....

The accusations, conspiracies are going to continue in years to come until there is an honest public inquiry into her death and the curcumstances around her death are published.

Weither you like it or not she was a threat to the Monarchy and the Gov, her profile in the world at that time was higher than anyone elses.

Still she did good for her good causes, charities etc. Long may she rest in peace. Wish that every year though we didnt have to go through all of this. Enough is enough let her rest in peace.

What makes me believe that there is more to this that meets the eye is when they say that the driver was seriousely drunk and had large lvl's of carbon monoxide iirc? in his blood yet video evidence shows him outside the hotel kneeling down to tye a shoelace without wobbling or staggering or needing help to stand up after, i am possibly up to 20 years younger than him and i couldn't do this whilst sober let alone drunk.

And his accusations since have ensured that he will never be a Briton - even if he get 10 billions years worth of reincarnations ........

As for the enquiry: what was the speed limit and how fast was the car travelling when the driver lost control? Answer those questions and you'll probably close the case.

btw a heavy drinker can be 2 or 3 times over the drink limit for driving and still appear outwardly to be stone cold sober. It's only when you start racing through city streets that your reaction times becomes an issue ......

Oh, and there were several million Britons who couldn't stand the whinging whining Diana and were glad to see her gone. Are we all still suspects I wonder??????

TBH, Card carrying dyed in the wool Englishman that I am, I really cannot see what all the Diana fuss is about.

She was a mildly attractive woman who made a few mistakes and married into the royal family, and shes been dead for ten years.

Why can't people just let it lie now?

You are entitled to your opinion sir, however wrong it may be.

MI6 working with French DGSE ? Laughable at best, ridiculous at worst.
Al Fayed is an irritable little man with zero credibility. He bought Harrods (the shop the Queen shops at) to try to gain some cred and help him with his multiple attempts to get British nationality and that failed miserably (thank heavens).
He is a shopkeeper, nothing more, and a bad one at that.

"The Royal Family, under Prince Philip and backed by Queen Elizabeth, ordered Princess Diana's death."
Proof ? Evidence? or just taking a poke at people who wont even bother to respond to such a ridiculously inept allegation?

Tomlinsons rant, if you read it, stated she "may" have been murdered. She also "May" have been an alien or a zombie brought back from the dead or "may" have been George Michael in drag.
The fact is, she wasnt murdered at all, which really annoys all the conspiracy theorists who always look for the worst case scenarios before looking at the obvious.

The reason for the delay, is that firstly she died in a Foreign country, over which the UK authorities have no sway, and secondly the UK authorities would have had to wait for the French to sort out their inquest before their evidence could be passed over to the UK for the British Inquest.

As I stated, Place D'alma where she died is one of thos nasty little road peculiarities that are all over the world. If I remember correctly the speed limit is 40KMH and AFAIK Henri Paul was doing nearly double that.
When myself and a friend testedit several years ago in a similar weighted car to their Mercedes ( A Jaguar( my frind reported that, at 60KMH when you entered the dip to the tunnel, his steering went "Light" and he stated he would not have wanted to do it at ahigher speed.

If any security forces wanted to top Diana and her boyfriend there were much quieter and secluded places to do it than smack dab in the middle of Paris

Shes dead, a minor female who wanted to be peoples "Queen of hearts" OH YEUCHHHHHHH

Someone said the debate could go on for another 10 years.... I am thinking longer ( Elvis, Kennedy, Monroe, etc. )

The reason this won't go away is too many 'reasons' for her death are prevalant. To have her dead would solve a lot of problems for the Royal family.

My thoughts, she was killed in an accident by excessive speed and impaired driving, nothing more.

As mentioned, there were many reasons for having her killed, this is how conspiracies originate.

But to lay it out on the table, some of the Royal's were probably sighing relief when they heard the news.

Who knows, if this accident didn't happen... I'm sure they would have gotten her at some point.

It all boils down to credibility.

Who am I and others more likely to believe?

Those who support an obviously corrupt royal family in the UK?

Or a former British MI6 agent who, by the very nature of his work, has access to classified information that the common person does not have?

BINGO

No, credibility has nothing whatsoever to do with it.
If the powers that be wanted to top her and Fayed they had many many multiple chances to do it, The center of Paris just after peak holiday time and at a time in the evening when Paris is teeming with life was certainly NOT one of them.

Given any situation, conspiracy theorists will always go for the easy target rather than the most logical answer = an accident

She was no threat to the monarchy whatsoever. yep her son is second in line to the throne but that has nothing to do with her whether she was a moslem or not. The Royal Family are way too powerfull to let someone like Diana queer their pitch.

Then why did Diana state in at least one of her letters to her former butler a fear that she would be murdered by (the order of) Prince Philip?

No, there is too much evidence of a cover-up here to put credence in the notion that her death was only an accident. And I am not even going into all the facets of the car crash itself that were left unresolved.

Moreover, Richard Tomlinson has a gag order. If he has nothing to say that would implicate the royals in her assassination, then why is he ordered not to talk about it to the public?

Yeah right...Diana's death was just an accident.

And JFK was killed with a single bullet that entered his body twice too.

Tell me another one...

I must admit to being somewhat depressed by all this Diana memorial stuff and nonsense. I was unmoved at the time and I remain unmoved to this day, I can't honestly see what all the fuss is about. People that contribute far more to humanity pass away with nary a murmer from the unwashed masses. Coupled with all those awful nauseating troglodytes hooting about their "Princess of Hearts".

Pah! An occasion laden with such mind numbing sentimentality would drive a sensible fellow to the arms of a gypsy!

I had no attraction for Diana, I think she was too tall and lanky, and she was just a little more pleasant to look at than Camilla. Also, as a US citizen, I objected to the excessive pouring of sympathy by Americans for a British princess'death (after all there had been this revolution in 1770's to overthrow the rule of the British monarchy). And, yes there is a certain lack of enthusiasm for JFK conspiracy theories.

But as a member of the literate subsegment of the modern human race, I find it offensive that the British goverment took so long to even begin an investigation. The French report by Judge Stephan came out in September 1999 and final judgement of the French inquiry in April 2002

news.bbc.co.uk...

It is the British coroner's report which issued in Dec 2006. Nine years to confirm that she died as a result of massive head injuries. Now the British govt. finally wixh to investigate i someone intentionally made it possible for the death, or not. It is this blatant "F**K YOU" all we will take our bloody time attitude which infuriates me.
