Lookin' to redeem myself after a shaky Week 2. I've spent a few minutes on the Chargers/Packers game, flip flopping my answers several times. It all comes down to the fact that I can not sell the Pack short and assume that they won't come out with their A game. If Favre can play as well as he did last week, and the defense can hold LT to a respectable game, I think GB can do it. I don't put much trust in the arm of Philip Rivers.

But before I go off too much, I need to ask for some clarification. In the Colts/Texans game, the spread was 6 points for Houston. Colts won by six. Is it a push? Is that a win for me? Or a loss? I've taken the nod on those ones, so my record may take a slight hit if I hear otherwise.

For a pick to win, the spread must be beat... If a team is favored by three, and wins by three then that game goes in the loss column (I know in Vegas you get your money back, but there's no money involved here, and this is about winning, not breaking even).

Don't blame me I'm just a Rams fan, and woe its gonna be a long season. I have doubts that my TV will survive this. Uggg and now Jackson is out for 4 weeks.

When you look at Favre's performance in that damn dome (and domes everywhere, for that matter), it becomes painfully clear why this line is set where it is. (With a win on his last visit there, Favre improved his away record against the Vikes to a gaudy 5-10.)

I'll be wearing my cheesehead and cheering like crazy for the Pack...but I will never ever take the Packers AT Minnesota.

Well since there's no $ at stake, and the point spreads practically make every game a veritable coin toss, it's not like I stress over it. I just throw 'em out there while I happen to be here. If not, it would never get done.

My all-time favorite pool was at work a few years ago. All the games were picked straight up but you had to assign 1-16 points to each game depending upon how sure you were of the outcome. There was a weekly winner and prizes for best overall at the end of the season. I made a couple bucks off that one.

Better last week. Looking to improve. This spread thing is a tricky beastie.
