Alberto Gonzalez and Carl Rove have resigned and they obviously want to get out while they still can. There are a lot of notable changes in the Bush administration. My question is what becomes of them afterwards? Can they still be held liable for any ill actions on their behalf?

What ill actions?

Are you talking about Gonzales firing 9 US Attorneys that serve at the pleasure of the President?

Are you talking about Karl Rove helping George Bush getting elected to 2 terms as President?

Could you be a little more specific?
