I was checking out the newest pictures from the MASR rover and found this rock to be interesting. It looks like a snake head. I'm not saying that it is, but it's interesting what you can see in rocks like these. Comment?

The only strange thing I notice is that there are a lot of rocks in a shape used in building castles and piramides. those blocks with strait ligns.

Gopher or not...that random hole there is more interesting than the rocks. I wonder how big and deep it would be? What would have caused it? If you rule out Spirit itself...rule out water erosion....hmmm I doubt it was a tiny meteor. Who knows? maybe it's not a hole at all but a trick of light. Mars is a facinating place indeed.

True, it along with other pictures I have seen are interesting but I seriuosly doubt that mars is home to life that large. What is it? I havent got a clue, but we do live in fasinating times, dont we.

I believe that is a close up picture of the MARS surface. Those rocks are small (couple of inches?) so the "Snake head" is simular in size to a snake here on earth. Fosilized snake skull? Sculptured trinket? Just a rock that looks like somethinf familiar?
