In 1996 two families were abducted from their car in Scotland. When they first sighted the UFO (black triangle) they noticed at the top of a large mast on a nearby hill, a white light, flashing in sequences of three.
In a completely separate incident a group of folk decided to go up the same hill for a skywatch, after watching a UFO dog-fight in the sky some time previously. Some hours later, after a boring skywatch, a large white light floated up behind them into the sky, from the direction of the mast. (They freaked out and legged it.)I heard another story from a policeman who spotted a strange object on top of a similar mast. It was the colour of the sky and looked like a large bubble attached to the tip of the mast .My own strange experience is this. A few years ago I was up late one night talking to a friend on the phone. I looked out the window and saw a white line in the sky across the road. I asked my friend to hold a minute and went outside to see that the white line was my neighbours TV aerial. I continued my phone call describing to my friend what I was seeing. The white line grew brighter, and the middle got fatter till it looked exactly like this pic, and it stayed like that for at least 90 minutes.
I was halogen white. How can a TV aerial do this???? Here's a pic of the aerial. The part that lit up was the horizontal bar.
I'm useless at making photo composites but It would be great if someone could recreate that "NASA UFO" on the bar in my aerial shot. That's exactly what I saw. Anyone notice there might be a connection between masts, aerials and UFOs?

Well some theories state that UFOs are nothing but hallucinations caused by electrical interference with your brain, so sure masts can have a connection

That said, considering how many there are in the world and if you just happen to be kidnapped by aliens, there's a high chance a mast is somewhere nearby. So its hard to tell really.

I know what you mean. I suppose I could have said "toilets and UFOs, is here a connection", lol. It's a bugged me for a few years now though because I did see a TV aeriel light up one night. Maybe there's an earthly cause? Someone should know, you'd think.I don't think UFOs are just hallucinations though. p.s. I forgot to mention - when my partner and I had our big UFO sighting in March 2004, it appeared just to the left of the chimney in my third pic above. Could this be just coincidence or could there be more to it? The guy who owned the house in question came out and saw the object as it drifted away to a dot in the sky but we saw it when it appeared. It makes me think of The Matrix when they needed a phone line to jump in and out of realities.

Before anyone jumps on me for bumping my own thread - I just thought I'd move it up the pile a wee bit so the folk in the other side of the pond (who are out of their beds now) can have a read and maybe let me know if they've come across the same kind of thing.

Wow, excellent topic wigit, very interesting.

It is a great find on your part.

To ATS: Could some science experts stop in please, give some input on what this could be?

Heck! I'm no science expert, especially where UFOs are concerned! Having said that, here's my two bits....

Regarding the white streak apparently emanating from the object (UFO?) to the antenna, and its subsequent glow, some UFOs, as we can surmise, operate by electromagnetic/electrogravitic impulse. This results in gravity shielding (Not anti-grav) allowing the object to move at tremendous speeds.

Now it’s likely that this EM/EG builds up great amounts of + / - ions or surface potential in the process which ‘bleed’ through to keep equilibrium. Just like a lightning bolt, which is basically discharge of ions. Therefore, due to excessive surface potential formed by the plasma sheath over the craft surface, this may lead to a discharge.

So keeping this in view, it is possible that excessive plasma was discharged onto the closest metallic point which in this case was the TV antenna. Many have noticed similar phenomena on tall metallic pylons that carry electricity. Something like a ‘controlled’ lightning bolt.

You must be wondering why UFO pics are usually blurred. That’s because a plasma corona is produced around the ship and is associated with its method of propulsion. The plasma is indicative of corona produced by high voltage discharge and intense ionizing radiation. If it gets too ‘hot’, it results in a controlled discharge.

Hope that helps some! But again this is speculation! No one really knows for sure.

Cheers!

Was it kinda like this?

Thanks for all the input guys.Subject X, it was almost exactly like your pic except it didn't appear to go behind the chimney and it was sharper. The whole white shape was on the bar at the right of the chimney. Thanks very much. Now, does anyone have an explanation for this? I thought at first it was a light shining up from a garden but as it slowly morphed into this eventual shape and stayed there for ages, that, and the pure white brightness, made me realise it was something else entirely.

I'm resurrecting this old thread AGAIN. Maybe some of our new members have a story to add, or maybe someone else has made a similar connection like I have in the opening post. Many thanks.
