It's so annoying how they try to make a mockery of the subject at the end. I think the guy handled himself very well and kept composure though they were cutting him up at times with worse and worse questions.

Stephen Bassett is definitely no loon....

See his bio @ www.paradigmresearchgroup.org...

He has his third Exo-Politics Conference coming up in September in Gaithersburg, MD. Well worth the trip if you haven't yet attended one, I've been to 1 & 2, can't make it out there this year though.

Also, he knew exactly what he was getting into--he's been on FOX before, once with Shepard Smith, who pulled the same crap.

He does handle himself well. Very good speaker, quick on his feet.

Good for him, Im glad to see him stick it out like that in the face of being made out to be a nutter..

I've got to admit that I do like Stephen Bassett! His facial expressions when he gets a stupid question are classic

Disclosure of some form would be cool. And thinking of what John Podesta said about the subject...

... it seems somewhat odd that this should be covered up when the US certainly didn't mind it's people worrying about nuclear annihilation

Off Topic (kinda)...

I remember my wife asking me once if we had to do the Duck & Cover stuff in Britain like she did here in the US. I replied no, and that we were told we'd have 4 minutes to live, that the railway station near where I lived was a ground zero, and that we would be vaporized within 3 milliseconds

Hmmmmmm
FOX gave him a platform with one of the largest viewing audiences in television. How evil of them
Where is the tape of him on CNN, ABC, NBC or CNBC????

On topic -
Bill Richardson maybe? Too Socialist for my taste, but I like him and he seems honest enough. Hillary! No way will she do anything that would cause her any problems or be controversial. She is power mad and would want two terms in office. She would never allow an investigation into UFO's or ET's.

Basset should get a proper spokesman that could have made use of some of the most valuable face time on any program on the planet. Opportunities like that don't grow on trees. Even the Democrats watch that show.

Europa dude! Chill! Your going to have a heart attack! Your thread got a very friendly response. Many of us are from the US. We are not out to get you.

I got to put in my two cents here.

First of all, keep in mind that this is FOX news. (Slanted to the right) You saw how the one reporter tried to get the guy to explain what does a humanoid look like.

*This will make him look crazy if he tried* Then they would make back handed comments about him and funny faces *like he is crazy*

Next, they tie in the Democrats to believing in Aliens and to work on disclosure to make the party look like a bunch of left wing crazy nuts that believe in Aliens. I can see the ET Phone home jokes warming up already. Can you imagine the sound bites that Fox would play over and over again until election day?

Plus Fox News could be desperate for ratings knowing this stuff is talked about on the net. It will pull in a few more viewers to their channel.

This is all about politics and winning the white house. Keep in mind, that several presidents have tried to disclose information. Bill Clinton, Ronald Regan, Jimmy Carter and at one point even Dwight Eisenhower. What makes you think that if Hillary or Bill Richardson got in, they would have the power to disclose that information? All the past presidents failed.

Plus Bill Richardson and Hillary Clinton has not said anything publicly, why? Because they don't want to look crazy or risk losing votes. 2. They will easily get votes from Ufologist if this rumor was to circulate.

I read some stories on the net (I will not vouch for the validity of it) that JFK was going to disclose information about Roswell and UFOs but was assassinated before he had a chance to. I am not sure how true that one is considering there are all kinds of stories on the net. True and Untrue.

The only way I see this of even being true is that the government knows that they will not be able to keep this a secret any longer because they are aware that contact might happen soon.

But I don't believe disclosure from the government will come anytime soon. Just go to Stanton Friedmans website and he will list why the government will not.

How typical of FOX to use the old "if you can't make him look stupid face-to-face, just cut him off and then take shots at him" tactic.

Oh, and great joke about thinking The ET Ticket was referring to Entertainment Tonight. As if campaigning to the Anna Nicole and Paris Hilton fan club would be perfectly normal, but taking the possibility of aliens seriously, now that's just crazy.

Bassett is a good speaker and advocate. The TV segment was disappointing but predictable.

The recent Larry King UFO special was too. I wish someone like Charlie Rose would have a serious UFO researcher like Richard Dolan as a guest. Just give them 30 minutes to make the case and answer intelligent questions.

fox channel is such a joke, it would be great to hear what the candidates have to say about ufo's and such, someone should ask in the next youtube debate or somethin.

And TheInfamousOne yes, i believe that was one of the many reason JFK was assassinated, he wanted disclosure, the CIA was not going to tolerate him.
